* Fett: "A companion of the man I'm after... Han Solo! One might lure the other, Lord Vader! Should my fellow bounty hunters succeed... Solo could serve that function before we give him to Jabba!"
* Vader: "You're enterprising, Fett! Perhaps we will meet again... when your enterprise bears fruit!"
* A pleased Boba Fett watches Darth Vader's departure from Ord Mantell... visions of a double reward in his mind

#ThrowbackThursday: Do you have an original #BobaFett action figure?

Between 1979 and 1983, the same mold for the figure was available carded and by mail-away (via proofs-of-purchase or Sears). The spring-loaded rocket pack was never produced beyond some small handful of prototypes, while some foreign versions have removable rocket pieces.

There are some noticeable differences between the figures, such as the embossed copyright mark on the leg either noting Hong Kong (light brown belt and visor), Taiwan (medium blue vs. light blue), or simply no country of origin (COO). But there are also some subtle paint and craftsmanship variations between the Kenner (USA), Kenner Tri-Logo (European, e.g. darker brown), Palitoy (UK), Poch/PBP (Spain, e.g. lighter olive green chest armor, brighter red visor and right wrist gauntlet, and deformations on the legs and rocket tip), Lili Ledy (Mexico), and Meccano (France) releases.

Present-day photo of the vintage figure by Skeleton Astronaut, shared with us on our public group on Flickr. Special thanks to @Phu_77 (Instagram) for all the information he's shared to help fact-check this post.

#ThrowbackThursday: #BobaFett appeared on Mos Eisley in Docking Bay 94 for a few moments alongside Jabba the Hutt, Han Solo, and the Millennium Falcon.

Some trivia: Fett's left shoulder is mysteriously missing its usual symbol; the armor colors more so resembles "Jedi" rather than "Empire," even though that would be out of order (unless Fett perhaps carries multiple sets of armor with him in the cargo hold); and, making the rounds again online, this appearance would connect the possibility that Fett actually torched Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru, later warranting Darth Vader's comment to Fett later on, "no disintegrations" (this time).

While we've had no less than five Sarlacc "survivor" storylines, after Disney bought Lucasfilm, all of these Expanded Universe ideas were officially tossed aside. Yesterday's public declaration on Rinzler's Reddit AMA is only the second time Lucas has said Fett lives, after many times saying Fett dies. And this time it wasn't just a hot mic picking up Lucas like at the 2012 Star Wars Celebration VI convention.

#ThrowbackThursday: This rare photograph of #BobaFett on the Sarlacc set for #ReturnOfTheJedi, dated January 1982, was shown in a #StarWars exhibit at the 2007 San Diego Comic Con. We took this photo of the exhibit photo, which for some reason was shown inverted. We've yet to see it published anywhere else.

#ThrowbackThursday: Bob Yerkes was one of 3 stuntmen to play #BobaFett in #StarWars #ReturnOfTheJedi. The word on the street is that Yerkes was just needed for a close-up of the Skiff shots (in Yerkes own backyard no less), whereas the other two stuntmen worked in Yuma, Arizona for the larger shots with the #Sarlacc Pit.
