Happy birthday to Lawrence Kasdan!

Lawrence Kasdan -- who co-wrote #StarWars Episode V, Episode VI and Episode VII -- is also the writer for the untitled Han Solo "story" film, as confirmed by starwars.com on July 7, 2015. (He's also been rumored to be working on another still-rumored film, but we'll save that debate for another day.) #BobaFett #ThisDayInHistory

#ThisDayInHistory: #BobaFett made his animated debut in the #StarWars Holiday Special, which aired on this day in 1978 on CBS.

Normally seen on bootleg VHS copies, Lucasfilm included the cartoon segment of the television special as a bonus feature for the "Star Wars: The Complete Saga" Blu-ray release in 2011. Don Francks is uncredited but believed to be the voice of Boba Fett.

For more trivia and transcripts, see our Fettpedia entry at http://bobafett.com/fettpedia/Star_Wars_Holiday_Special

(Correction: We originally said the 2005 Blu-ray release, which is incorrect and doesn't exist. It's the 2011 Blu-ray release that has this bonus footage.)

#TriviaTuesday: Sheldon from #TheBigBangTheory (played by Jim Parsons) donned his #BobaFett helmet to deal with an annoying bird outside his window. This episode, "The Ornithophobia Diffusion" (Season 5 Episode 9), aired on this day in 2011.

Boba Fett has been referenced in the show at least four times. And that's just counting the artwork in the comic book store once. Learn about each reference on Fettpedia: http://j.mp/1HE83pM
