In case you missed it, in the shot of "re-armored" Boba Fett from behind, you can clearly see he had an additional, all-black kill stripe on his helmet; Hasbro's toy helmet version included that detail, which disappeared for some reason in #TheBookOfBobaFett

In case you missed it, the alternative name isn't just a LEGO thing – it's one of actually several new official products using the name "#BobaFett's Starship" (or "Boba Fett's Starfighter") instead of Slave I ... even the official #StarWars databank changed its web address and the text description wiped *almost* every prior mention of the original name

Back in 2012 at Star Wars Celebration VI, "#StarWars Detours" was announced as a new animated comedy series that "explores what daily life is like in a galaxy far, far away."

According to Seth Green in 2013 during an AMA on Reddit, "39 finished episodes and around 62 finished scripts" were complete before Disney decided to shelve the series indefinitely. This clip is from a 6-minute video uploaded earlier this month and just recently discovered.

#BobaFett is voiced by Breckin Meyer, who also does the bounty hunter's voice in Robot Chicken Star Wars, another Seth Green in common production.

"[A]ll-too-familiar Mandalorian armor. 'Is it even real Mandalorian armor? Looks like something hammered out on a swindler's forge.'"

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of "The Empire Strikes Back," Hot Toys is re-releasing its 1/6 scale "Deluxe" #BobaFett, originally out in 2018.

With retro style packaging this time around (not yet shown in the marketing imagery released yesterday), this one is expected to arrive Q1 or Q2 2021. The fine print on these images also suggests there may be other minor differences to come.

The 2018 one retailed for $267 so this 2021 one may be similarly priced, if not higher.

#BobaFett appeared in "Underworld: The Yavin Vassilika," a mini-series published by Dark Horse Comics in 2000. The #StarWars comic spurned interest at one point circa 2012 in an official, live-action Star Wars TV show that would have followed the same storyline. Those scripts, despite quotes from Lucasfilm (read: Rick McCallum) about their existence, must have been shelved.

#MandalorianMonday: #BobaFett had a "Star Wars" boxed Ben Cooper costume and mask set before his "Empire" debut. There's still a little low-activity auction going, now at http://j.mp/1EwuIrb.

Detail photo of the kid's costume here by a different collector, nerdykidsvintage (Etsy). (Disclaimer: we don't know the seller, but all signs look good -- good photos, good description, great rating, and great price.)

One of the humorous moments between Han Solo and Boba Fett in the classic serial "#StarWars Comic Strip."

This storyline first introduced #BobaFett to newspaper print on June 19, 1980. Much later, it was re-touched and re-printed by #DarkHorseComics for "Classic Star Wars: The Early Adventures 9" as well as "Classic Star Wars: The Early Adventures Volume 4."

"Droids" #BobaFett and Stormtroopers Seri-Cel (1995). This print is often cited as a #StarWars "Holiday Special" frame, but the back of at least one print -- recently shared on an eBay auction where this sold for $25 -- clearly states "Droids." "#StarWars: Detours," the animated show from Seth Green ("Robot Chicken") that was shelved, may still come out after Episode 7. During an AMA on Reddit this last September, Green shared that the show -- created by George Lucas -- had "39 finished episodes and around 62 finished scripts." Here's a screenshot of how #BobaFett was pictured (which reminds us of @minibobafett). This drawing of #JangoFett, lounging in his Tipoca City quarters, was done by Episode II concept art Edwin Natividad.

According to "#StarWars: The Art of Attack of the Clones," this was done before the script was written. "Lucas didn't like the notion of Kaminoan visitors, so Natividad gave Fett solitude and a smaller apartment. 'I pictured him with his helmet on,' Natividad explained, 'because I didn't want to imply he was human.'"

"Put Captain Solo in the cargo hold" marks #BobaFett's 7th shot in the film (starting at 1:41:45) and clocks in at a smooth 12 seconds. No more, no less. In the original script by Lawrence Kasdan and Leigh Brackett, the bounty hunter was to climb aboard on a ladder next to the cargo hold.

While #BobaFett used aliases like #SarlaccFood and #SavaBrecMadak in the 1996 comic strip "Twin Engines of Destruction," Andy Mangels first coined the name of "Jaster Mereel" in relation to #BobaFett. In the #ExpandedUniverse, that name was used consistently, although it evolved to mean something and someone else (who was killed off). But that's commonplace. In the short story, "Last Man Standing," published in the 1996 book "Tales of the Bounty Hunters," we have these two great quotes: "One tale tells of Fett being a failed stormtrooper who killed his commanding officer. ... A third account tells of a Journeyman Protector from Concord Dawn named Jaster Mereel who adopted the mask and guise when he was convicted of treason." In this panel from the comic, we can see part of his scars after escaping the #Sarlacc.

The original, weekly "#StarWars Comic Strip" included a storyline called "The Frozen World of Ota," which first introduced #BobaFett to print on June 19, 1980. Almost every day later, he appeared again until the end of the run on August 10, 1980. The #comic from writer Russ Manning and artist Al Williamson was mostly black-and-white with weekends printed in color within the newspaper. The story was later re-published in full color by #DarkHorseComics in "Classic Star Wars: The Early Adventures 9." http://www.bobafettfanclub.com/bounty/books/comics/classic_9/
