Back in 2012 at Star Wars Celebration VI, "#StarWars Detours" was announced as a new animated comedy series that "explores what daily life is like in a galaxy far, far away."

According to Seth Green in 2013 during an AMA on Reddit, "39 finished episodes and around 62 finished scripts" were complete before Disney decided to shelve the series indefinitely. This clip is from a 6-minute video uploaded earlier this month and just recently discovered.

#BobaFett is voiced by Breckin Meyer, who also does the bounty hunter's voice in Robot Chicken Star Wars, another Seth Green in common production.

The official #StarWars app for iOS and Android just updated with #BobaFett emoji and other characters, which you can copy and paste into messages that support images.

The app is available in the U.S. only for now and free on iOS (http://j.mp/1gRooRp) and Android (http://j.mp/1KTJsSa). Can't get the app? The graphic is just a 62x62 transparent PNG and not part of a keyboard -- yet. Vote #TeamBoba in Latest #ThisIsMadness Matchup: http://tim.starwars.com

When this match-up began, #BobaFett led with 66% of the vote. Hours later, the lead fell to 23%. Throughout Saturday, according to our monitoring, Boba climbed back steadily without irregularity to reach 39% of the vote. We had the likes of Daniel Logan, Freddie Prinze Jr., and even William Shatner giving shout-outs for Boba. Then, hours later as the United States began to fall asleep, 9% of that gain disappeared with no social media track record of any push for vote to #TeamJango.

There's one more day to vote: http://tim.starwars.com

Last year, Boba Fett had 70% of the vote when he faced Jango. Both last year and this year, the starwars.com poll appears to have used browser cookies to track votes. Deleting the cookie may be allowing repeat votes.

#ThrowbackThursday: "Bounty #239" Artwork for Sideshow Collectibles' Mythos Boba Fett

Excerpt: "Bounty #239 is a paranoid scum. No surprise there. After making enemies in over a dozen systems making deals, breaking them, selling tainted product, even letting some so-called friends take the rap for one of his own schemes on Corellia that Bith slimo deserves everything that's coming to him. Too bad no one told him that what's coming is me..." #

#ThisMonthInHistory: Marvel Star Wars #42 was published September 23 yet had a December 1980 date on the top left.

But this first comic book appearance of #BobaFett mirrored the same content in Marvel Comics Super Special #16 (bottom left; dated May 1, 1980), Marvel Illustrated Books: The Empire Strikes Back (top right; dated May 1, 1980), and Marvel Special Edition 2: The Empire Strikes Back (bottom right; dated Spring 1980). To add to the mix, you could include the U.K.'s The Empire Strikes Back Weekly #129 released August 14, 1980.

Oddly enough, despite those copyright dates, those variants contained issues #39-44, which makes us wonder which one really came first after all.

For all Boba Fett comics, see http://bobafett.com/bounty/books/comics/

(Caption updated for further clarity. Vintage comic dates on the top left were often considered back then months to pull the issue off newsstands.)

"#StarWars: Detours," the animated show from Seth Green ("Robot Chicken") that was shelved, may still come out after Episode 7. During an AMA on Reddit this last September, Green shared that the show -- created by George Lucas -- had "39 finished episodes and around 62 finished scripts." Here's a screenshot of how #BobaFett was pictured (which reminds us of @minibobafett). Discuss your thoughts on our message board's topic for "Detours" at http://www.bobafettfanclub.com/boards/post/98932/
