Over two hours ahead of the big Star Wars Battlefront panel event today at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, the Associated Press already confirms it: Boba Fett is in the game, "Star Wars: Battlefront," due later this year.

The game will reward sharpshooters with the ability to embody such iconic characters as bounty hunter Boba Fett and Sith baddie Darth Vader on the battlefield.

UPDATE The trailer includes Boba Fett!

UPDATE There's a downed Star Destroyer in the background of Boba Fett's cameo. We just saw this sort of moment in the latest "The Force Awakens" trailer. Coincidence? Could that mean that Boba Fett is alive and out of the Sarlacc in the new canon?
