lego-75060-legoland-early-release

[UPDATE 12/29 4pm PST: We can also confirm the set is being sold ahead of schedule at LEGO stores, one of which is the South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa, CA.]

Today, LEGOLAND in Florida had the brand-new LEGO UCS Slave I (75060) on its shelves for sale, well ahead of the scheduled January 1 release date.

Has anyone already picked up their new LEGO Slave I that was released early? Who's planning to pick it up in store or on LEGO.com starting January 1?

(We checked with LEGO.com about any pre-sale and was told, out of fairness, that no advance sale was planned.)

Helmet nod to Curt Hersey for the head's up and the photo!
