EE-3 has a metal tube at the end and a strap, unlike "Return of the Jedi"

The Webley flare gun was originally returned to Bapty & Co. and stripped of its screen dressing. It was sold in the late 1990s or early 2000s, so never ended up at Lucasfilm Archives.

EE-3 has much darker with grooves on the barrel and no strap, unlike the "Empire Strikes Back"

Resin- or rubber-cast of the "Empire" Webley flare gun but with the same scope as the "Empire" version, but an extended barrel wrapped with T-track grips in place of the MPP flash tube and alternate greeblies on the stock
