Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

(If john was home, he would be watching Predator big_smile)
John was closer now, he levled the desert eagle, ainmed for the vampires knee, which had healed nicely, and fired three times. The second shot hit him in the foot, another holy water round, and he tripped. Anonther vampire came from an alley John shot it in the chest, and it stumbled. John ran to grab Audrey the one that had taken her was already getting up. John got Audrey, and began to run again, hoping they could out run the vampire, they were running out of time.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

(Awesome...thanx guys...)
Ashryn was getting sick of this slayer. He'd never felt the urge to take a life in anger. This was definitely a first. He hissed through gritted teeth, as he removed the holy water rounds from his knee and foot. Striker seemed even more upset as he removed the round from his chest with an angry shout.

"I... HATE...SLAYERS!!!" Striker yelled in futility, after the fleeing targets.

"Nice of you to finally join us, Striker. What took you so long? I've got this pesky slayer, and Murk Valley's werewolves are in an awful uproar. It hasn't helped that certain of our coven have been openly attacking them. Somethings very wrong here. We need to get her to D, quickly." Ashryn and Striker were both running after the pesky Slayer and the woman.

"D's been busy with his own problems." Striker says running slightly faster than Ashryn.

"Do tell..." Ashryn said.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

John checked his watch, and noticed that the sun would be up very, very, soon. He didnt know how tolerant of it Audrey was, and he didnt think it would be fun to find out. His appartment was very close, and it was very safe. "Next right."  They took the turn, John unlocked the door, and they ran upstairs. Soon after John unlocked the door to his appartment, ran in closed and bolted all of the widnows, bolting the door shut."Kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, 'office' livingroom." As Audrey went off to do whatever she needed to do, John opened a closet and pulled out a standing UV light. He pointed it at the door, pulgged it in and hit the switch. He wasnt sure what the vampires could do about a locked door, but they couldn't  get past this light.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

(Sev concerning your last post... Fort's name is Nathaniel, his younger brother, although he also uses the nickname Fort, is Daniel.)

Fort looked over the horrid body of the were. This really wasn't the work of a Balor Lord...

THUD...

THUD...

THUD...

KRAAAAAAAAAAAARRR!!!!  A deafening roar sounded behind Fort, Griggs, and Paul and they turned, slowly. The Balor Lord stood behind them, setting fire to the foliage around it. Its flame whip snaked eerily around its mammoth legs and its flame sword hung menacingly from his hand.

Fort unsheathed Nasher.

"RUN!" He yelled.

Paul threw Clara's body over his shoulder and ran back the way they came. Griggs ran after him shooting backa t the Balor Lord for covering fire. Fort brought up the rear.

Fort heard an incantation and leapt a few feet forward out of instinct. A fireball impacted where he was just standing and the shockwave sent him flying into Griggs. He and Griggs scrambled to their feet and kept running. Fort took out his magnum and let loose a few pointless rounds into the giant demon. It was somewhat slow on feet however, so they thought they had a chance.

"KRAAAAAARAAAAAAAOOORRRR!" The Balor Lord roared again and its flaming wings stretched from its back. The giant wingspan arched over the trees lining the path in the park and set fire to some more foliage. With its huge legs, it leapt high into the air and flapped its wings. There was no skin , no membrane on the wings. it was only bone and fire. It flew purely on demonic magic. This made the group run even faster.

"We're gonna need a bigger boat!" Griggs muttered to Fort while sprinting

"Jaws!" Fort yelled over the sound of the Balor's roars. Griggs chuckled and looked back at the direction he was running. Fort holstered his magnum and grasped Nasher with both hands again.

The Balor Lord swooped over the group and slammed into the ground in front of Paul, who nearly faceplanted into the cement. The Balor let loose another deafening roar and the group skidded to a halt and ran the other way.

The Balor Lord was too close to Paul however. It brought down its huge fire sword. Fort flung himself in the way and defleced the blow, he couldn't block such a strike completely. The blade bit deep into the concrete sidewalk and send shards of it in every direction.

The Balor recovered quickly and flung its whip at Fort while pulling out the sword from the sidewalk. Fort nimbly deflected the whip as embers flew around him. Fort whirled around, dodging the pommel of the Balor Lord's sword and threw a quick slash at the Balor's knee. Nasher cut threw the leg about 3 inches in and deep red blood spilled out.

The wound would heal momentarily however, but it stalled the Balor long enough to allow Fort to sprint away again, leaping over a low strike from thw whip.

Paul was far enough away and had a good enough lead that he had a good chance of survival. Griggs doubled back when he saw Fort dueling the Balor Lord to cover him. Fort, although he had managed to get out of the Balor Lord's immediate grasp, was in more trouble.

The Balor Lord aimed its sword in Fort's direction and began an incatation. He would melt Fort with the fire spell he was casting. Griggs unclipped a grenade from his belt and tossed it at the Balor Lord.

"YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!" Griggs yelled in the process

Fort turned to see the grenade go off in the Balor's face and it reeled from the damage and interupted its casting.

"Lord of the Rings!" Fort yelled to Griggs with a huge smile on his face after nimbly escaping death once again. Fort rejoined Griggs and they sprinted into the main part of the city and darted in and out of alley's, following Paul.

The Balor Lord was on his knees and blood poured from his mouth and into his hand. He would need to wait several moments before this kind of damage healed completely. It blinded him as well, so he roared back at Fort and Griggs as they fled. It took flight and flew in the general direction of its master. He would return.

Daphne had been deeply engrossed in Aliens when she heard an explosion and it clearly hadn't come from the TV. She turned it off and walked outside. There was shouting and Daphne caught the faint whiff of Paul's scent. She locked the door behind her and strode out onto the street. She was only a short distance away when she spotted Paul's silhouette. "Paul what's going on?" Daphne called.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

After they had ran a fair distance Paul stopped gasping.  A pain was taking over his back.  He craned his neck to see if anything was wrong and was rewarded with a fresh blast of pain.

"Hey Fort do you see any injuries on my back?"

"Not through the trench coat.  Take you shirt off."

Paul obliged taking his trench coat and then the tee off.  Fort whistled.

"Well Paul you only have several shards of concrete sticking out your back."

Paul took on a sarcastic tone.  "Oh is that all?  Can you get any big shards out?  My werewolf healing factor can't push big ones out of the skin."

"Better grab onto something."

Paul took his tee shirt and put it in his mouth and bit down hard as he felt the concrete slide out of his skin.  After it was over he shurgged on his t-shirt and trench coat.  Paul was leading them back to Daphne's.  He was going drop Fort and Griggs off there and then continue on to the conclave.  He sniffed the air.  Daphne was near.  As he approached the house, he saw her come out onto the street.

"Paul what's going on?"  Paul stepped into the street light and heard a gasp from Daphne.

"What happened to her?"

Fort steped up.  "We don't know.  But we don't think it was a Balor Lord.  It's probably worse."

This drew another gasp.

Paul spoke up.  "I think it's better if Fort and Griggs stayed here.  I am going back to the conclave to let Crispin know and to bur Clara.  DO you wish to come Daphne?"

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

Daphne looked between Paul and the slayers. "I'll be with your shortly Paul, I want to know anymore information these two have." She said looking at the slayers. "If it's not a Balor Lord what is it then?"

"We think another demon is involved," Nathaniel said.

"Let me guess, this one's even worse." Daphne said and really started contemplating about that plane ticket.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

"Well, in order to control a Balor Lord, yes, this ones even worse. Its definitely a greater demon of some kind. What exact type I have no idea. Apparently...we have a bigger problem on our hands now." Fort said with a sigh.

"...Oh...damn." Daphne said as she leant up against the light post. The group stood in silence for several moments. They really felt helpless.

"Alright we're gonna have to track them down and take them out separatly. But I dont suggest we move till we get our forces organized. Any update on Crispin's recruitment?" Fort asked Daphne

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

Ashryn and Striker were under the gun. The sun was coming up real soon, and if they called off pursuit and waited till nightfall, they'd lose their target's for sure.

"We almost got 'em, Ash." Striker said. They'd chased the pair right to an apartment building. A couple of flights up there were some blacked out windows.

<Gotcha> Ashryn thought. He knew that would be the best place to keep a young vamp this close to daylight. The two vampires moved quickly to the door and each of them took a side. Ashryn readied his gun, prepping for a possible surprise or boobytrap. Striker was far less patient, turning toward the door and with all his force kicked through the door. The wood splintered easily, and Striker shreiked in agony as he pulled his leg from the splintered door, charred and smoking.

"Bloody UV lights! IM gonna tear his head off! YOU HEAR ME, SLAYER! YOUR HEAD IS MIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE!" Striker yelled as he fanned his leg. "If this doesn't heal right, I'll kill your whole family too!"

Ashryn shook his head in frustration. They were running out of time...fast...

"Slayer!" He yelled. "I'd like to propose a truce. The girl will be safe with us. We can help her manage her bloodlust properly. Let's talk. There isn't much time and we all grow weary of this game."

Ashryn hoped the slayer would listen. He was desperate...

John looked back, seeing Audrey further down the hall "What do you think?" he asked, not wanting to make the decision for her.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nikoli grinned, wolfishly(bwahahahaha:D) "Nothing." He turned and walked away, noting the uneasy glance a member of Crispin's pack gave him as he walked past.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

Audrey looked a John for a moment. The thought of someone being able to help her with her bloodlust was like a prayer being answered but could she trust these other vampires? The seemed desperate to get to her and she wondered why.

“This could be a good opportunity for me,” Audrey said.

“I don’t trust them,” John replied as he looked towards the door.

“I think I should take the chance,” Audrey said as she stepped forward. She looked towards the other vampires. “Okay I’ll come with you, but leave John be.”

If it bleeds, we can kill it.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

“Crispin was busy gathering our pack. I should probably go back and see if he’s organised groups to take on this threat. He’ll need to be informed of this new information.” Daphne told and realised that she shouldn’t lead the two slayers back to her conclave. She turned to Paul, “Take Clara back home. Her parents will need to know what’s going on. Talk to Crispin and updated him on the situation.

Daphne looked at the two slayers, “So what hurts these things other than decapitation?"

Crispin watched Nikoli suspiciously as the black wolf walked away. He would have to keep an eye on this one, who smelled very clearly of treachery but was too powerful a fighter to pass up.

Crispin pulled out his phone and called his newfound grandson to see how combatting the Balor Lord was going.

Audrey gave John a tight smile. She wasn't sure if she was doing the right thing but she needed to try and curb her desire for blood. "I'm sure I'll see you sooner or later."

Audrey stepped out to meet the other two vampires. She had an uneasy feeling in her gut.

If it bleeds, we can kill it.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

Ashryn sighed with releif as the female stepped out from behind the door. She looked tired, young, afraid, and hopeful. Ashryn remembered how he'd felt when D first approached him 200 years ago, as an arrogant but young, and scared vampire with no control. It almost broke his heart.

Striker was still seeing to his wounds. "I still think the slayer should lose his bloody head, Ashryn."

"No, Striker. We have a deal. The slayer was only protecting her. I admire him for that. He lives."

Ashryn looks at the young female. He speaks to her in the same sorrowful, soulful manner as if he were onstage before his adoring fans. On mortals, it's intoxicating and hypnotic, comforting to the soul. He was unsure of how she'd be affected.

"I am called Ashryn Le Fay. What is your name, my child?..."

D's phone rang.

"Damn it, where did I stick that infernal piece of s- aha! Yes? Good, see to it that nobody interrupts her safe voyage."

Ending the call, D buzzed in one of his feral servants.

"Yes, milord?"

"We're having another guest, prepare a room for her."

"Yes, sir, I'll get to it."

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

John grinned as he heard the other vampire whine about his wounds. "Hey, buddy, clock is ticking. You think my head would look good on your wall, why dont you come and take it? Yeah, thats what I thought, afraid of a little sunlight?"

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

"Alright well anything normal can do damage, that is if its strong enough to penetrate the hide and get past the fire that is all over the Balor Lord. The only problem is it regenerates, not immediately but progressively. With a strong enough swing Nasher is sharp enough that it can cut him. Guns? Well, any you use have to have some serious firepower in them. No 9mm is gonna get through its hide. And as Girggs here displayed...grenades work pretty well. They stall him, but he regenerates any long ter damage." Fort said to Daphne.

"With enough firepower and enough numbers we may have a slim chance of actually KILLING it." Griggs said

Paul regarded Griggs and Fort.  "Well that's lovely and all but I'm still sitting here with a body slung over my back.  If you don't care then I'm heading to the conclave."

Paul wheeled about and made his way back.

Re: RPG - Supernatural: Vampire vs Werewolf

Daphne raised a brow but let Paul go. She looked back to the two slayers. “I’ve got something to show you.” She led the slayers back to her apartment and to the small laundry. She pushed a mock light switched and the dryer moved aside to reveal a hidden area filled with weapons. “We use this as a cache for unexpected vampire attacks. Feel free to use anything you like.”

Daphne was eyeing off the mini gun but decided that she’d let the guys take their pick first.

Fort and Griggs looked at the minigun...and then each other.

"MINE!!!!" They yelled in unison

They both dived at it and guns and ammo fell from racks and rained over them. God....it hurt. After a few seconds of scuffling Forts arms emerged from a pile of guns and ammo with the minigun in it.

"HAHAHAHA!!!! Its mine!!!! NO MINIGUN FOR YOU GRIGGS MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!" He yelled in triumph

"YES! HA!" Griggs examined the bulky M-134 minigun Daphne so kindly placed in his arms. It slightly different than the other ones, and had a horizontal handgrip attached under the six barrels where the mounting bolts would usually be. "Here's Ol' Painless out of the bag!" Griggs smiled.

"This IS my signature."
