Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

Aphotic. A strong name given by his dyeing mentor after a long battle with his Gen'Dai student.
Aphotic liked his name and all that it ment to him and to his enemies. He was on his way to where the resistance
was when he had an ideia, What were those jedi doingon Maanan? there was the sith but they couldn't know about them that soon or mabe they did and in that case they would want help, and the would be looking for the resistance and he knew where they were hiding. "so if I wait I can get even with those jedi"
"Ha HA!" "THATS IT" "oh you're a smart one Aphotic"

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

"Sorry about that," He said, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. He felt like a jerk, leaving Que like that. It's a good thing he found them.

"But, Que does have a point. Saying hi won't hurt anyone." Rekk nodded, agreeing with the Dug. "Maybe they'll even let something slip," He shrugged a shoulder.

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

"We better not approach them as a group, we may seem a bit intimidating." Utath pointed out.

Que shrugged, "I guess but what other choice do we have?"

Rekk smiled, "We could say we're looking for a party?"

Utath chuckled, "I suppose so. We can only try."

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

Que casualy approched the group.  "Hey, my friends and I were just wondering if we could join your party." "We aren't looking for revelers." stated one of the group.  "We aren't looking to freeload" Que hastily said. "We got money," Que flashed a some credits to show that he spoke the truth, "and we just wanted to get with you before the fun started." The last remark was stated so as that, if they were part of the resistance, they'd get the point.

All for one, and that one is me!

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

"Hmm...looks like they're buying it," Rekk said under his breath, wathcing the other parties faces closely. They seemed interested, especially when Que flashed the credits. "I just hope they don't see through us too quickly."

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

Utath smiled at the new group, it appeared that she was one of the few females. There was only one female Selkath and a green Twi'lek. The remainder of the group were male, it appeared that there were seven in all. However the group had now grown to ten with the addition of Rekk, Que and herself.

Utath decided to speak to the Twi'lek, "Greetings." She said and the Twi'lek gave a return nod of greeting. "So what brings you to these parts?"

"I came here looking for my father. He was to work here in the mining sector, but I have not heard from him in some time. I believe something fishy has happend to him, please excuse the pun." The Twi'lek told.

Utath smiled, "Do you have any leads?"

The Twi'lek shook her head, "Not at this stage. But I'm told a Jedi by the name of Revan came here while he was working. I suspect something happened to him then."

Utath nodded and glanced briefly at Rekk and Que, they were also mingling with the group. Though it appeared that Rekk had caught some of her conversation to the Twi'lek.

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

Rekk turned his head towards Utath and her Twi'lek companion. He did manage to catch a few sentances of the conversation, but what really sparked his interest was Reven.

"Reven?" He whispered to himself. That's a name he never thought he'd hear again.

"Excuse me," He interrupted. "Reven was here?" Maybe he could find out just exactly what happend to the Dark Lord, while helping out his friend's as well.

((Rekk's interested in Reven because he used to serve under him.))

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

Utath noticed the perplexed look on Rekk's face but decided to keep the Twi'lek talking. Utath discovered that the Twi'lek's name was Parvi and that she was wanting a little more respect from the newly arrived Sith. "They think that every Twi'lek is a dancing girl. It annoys me. I'm not a dancing girl, heck I'm not even good at dancing. I just want to be a chef but they just laugh at me."

Utath nodded sympathetically and noticed that they were heading into a motel function room. It was only a small function room but it seemed it was an invitation only matter. Utath just hoped that they would be able to go in with the group they had joined.

Que sensed a disturbance in the force.  He hoped they would find the resistance soon.  The Gen'die and the sith were going to strike soon. And strike hard.

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

((Sorry...I haven't been able to get on in a while...We need more people to join on the Sith side.))

Demagol awoke finding himself out of armor on the veranda of his penthouse suite overlooking the residential sector of Ahto. He got up off the soft, oversized leather chair and looked out at the massive floating wonder of a city.
He just sighed at thought of giving up on his current occupation and looked upon the peaceful place where he was.
Demagol shook his head and smirked as he shruged of the peaceful thoughts, and picked up his large green duffle bag full of armor and and equipment.
He was on his way out the door when his holo-transmitter bliped; he turned around to see a cloaked figure appear in the middle of the room...and a familiar voice.

"I trust you are enjoying your asignment on Manaan, Doctor." the hologram said.

*gasp* "Lord Revan, I am honored by this...um...visit." Demagol replied.

"Yes, I thought as much. I will be arriving on Manaan in one week's time, and that is all you need to know." Revan said.

"Yes Master, I will make the proper arrangments...and I trust no one else on Manaan, or The Acadamy knows about this?" He asked.

Revan's Hologram shook its head sideways, then vanished.

Demagol turned and thought for a minute, then finally walked out the door to the Residential plaza.

((I can change it if it won't fit into your storyline, Mel.))

"This IS my signature."

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

((Well as long as Revan doesn't end up as a main character, I'm happy))

Utath listened to the gentle background music as they seated themselve in a comfortable lounge. Parvi was talking about the Selkath and how she way annoyed at their ways. Utath listend sympathetically and was glad when Rekk sat down beside her.

"Oh Parvi, this is Rekk." Utath said, glad to break Parvi's long winded conversation.

"It's a pleasure." Parvi said, then quickly fell back into her ramble.

Utath smiled at Rekk and hoped he'd come up with an excuse for them to leave Parvi's company politely.

"Charmed," Rekk said, flashing a smile at the Twi'lek. "We gotta go...over there now." He pointed to a corner of the room. "Very important business to tend to there." He turned to his companions. "Come on guys. Maybe someone over there knows about Reven-I mean the Resistance." He said quietly, so only they heard.

((Sorry I haven't been here in awhile *sweatdrop* ))

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

((No prob))

Utath shook her head as if clearing it. She felt as though her ears were fuzzy from the long conversation with the Twi'lek. It was then that Utath noticed a man in very plain clothing, he would have seemed unimportant except that Utath noticed his shoes were polished to a high sheen. "I think we have a military man in our midst. Do you think he's the resistance contact?" Utath said subtly pointing out the man with a nod of her head.

Que blinked. "The shoes give it away."

Utath smiled. "Indeed they do."

"Let's look casual and listen in." Que said as hey watched the man move into position to give a little speech.

Rekk pretended to count his credit chips, but he was listening in as well. He hoped that the man was part of the Resistance, he was starting to get a little restless.

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

The man spoke in an authoritive voice, yet the tone was quiet. "Welcome friends. It seems are group is growing more quickly then we thought. Unfortunately the Sith are also growing in their numbers. There is talk that they plan to sabotage our mining efforts at the sea bed."

This sparked a note of chatter. The man raised his hand to quiet them. "We have people that will keep an eye on things and will report if they see anything. Our main concern is that they will start an underground recruitment of new Sith apprentices, namely the young Selkath."

Utath shuddered at the thought.

"We need to guide those who may possibly be swayed to remain neutral, as it is the Selkath way." The man said with a touch of sarcasm. It caused a few snickers.

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

"Neutral...that's not gonna last long at the rate the Sith are going," Rekk commented quietly, sweeping his chips together and pocketing them. "Maybe we can...persuade the young Selkath away from the Sith?" He suggested, shrugging a shoulder. "I mean, I doubt they'll listen to us, but hey, we can try."

He raised a hand, pointing a finger. "Or maybe...we can deal with the Sith themselves, but that would be really dangerous, not to mention stupid." He shrugged again. "Any other suggestions?"

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

"That could work," Que said, "if we knew the sith's base of operations.  Otherwise we just end up with random battles.  Not that I'm opposed to it, but it dosn't get us any closer to our goa..." Que sensed somthing. Was his just his feelings, his old dark dealings, or was their somthing else?  "One moment." he said as he went outside.  "Tell me the details later" he told the others, motioning for them to remain seated.

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

beep* beep* beeeeeeeeeeee...  Rekk-"Everyone DOWN!"
*CHkACKBOOM!*
"Good to see you Again JEDI!"
The explosion knocked the members of the party (and half the room) all over.
There on the ruble stood Aphtic, with what looked like some new armor attachments.
Aphotic took good advantedge of the shock that he had caused, with a few shots from his sonic blaster he knocked what was left of the roof on the jedi and the others he then dived away and behind a landed shutle leaving behind him a thermal detonator...

When? When would he learn to trust his feelings?  Que quickly turned to help the others, glad that his frequent brawls in the bars had made him tough and a master of healing.  Tending first to those in greatest need he decided that if he met the Gen'die again that he wouldn't be caught off gard again.  That's when he sensed him.  Que continued with his work, waiting for him to make his move.  He was ready.

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

Aphotic shot  at the Dug but the dug saw it coming and quickly doged then threw some ruble at him to stun him.
the next thing Aphotic saw was a mad dug leaping at his face.

Re: RPG - Secret Resistance on Manaan

"Okay..." Rekk said, sensing something as well, but shrugged it off. He had bigger things to worry about, like the Reisistance, Reven, and that pretty girl that he just noticed was staring at him.

"Behave yourself Rekk," He said to himself, "You can't be thinking about girls now." He forced himself to ignore the staring female as he thought about what to do.
