Topic: Transformers - Star Wars Style

While my hubby and I were at Kmart we decided to check out the reborn Transformers (since we were into the original toys when we were kids) and would you believe that they have Star Wars Transformers! See below, there's even a Jango Fett/Slave I transformer:

Re: Transformers - Star Wars Style

I think the Boba and Jango ones are just repaints of the same model.

I don't know why, but I really like the "Clone Wars" variation on the ARC-170 fighter.  They painted it up with the tiger stripes, like the ARC Troopers Republic Gunships from the Clone Wars cartoon.  Very nicely done, too.  Kind of reminds me of the old World War II fighter planes with the shark teeth on the nose of the plane.

I know you can't see it in the pic, but the pilot's armor is even painted up like this, and they put the JAIG Eyes on his helmet, as well.  Don't know why they didn't make a figure like that.  Looks pretty sweet.

Yeah, I've had the Boba one for a long time. I don't think I have Jango though, but I might. I might have got Obi-Wan too. I've never opened them though.

Re: Transformers - Star Wars Style

I bought the Boba one over a year ago, and, after a lot of searching, I found the Jango one five days less than one year ago (the only reason that I remember that is because I went to Florida to see my aunt and cousin almost a year ago, and they're coming here in five days).

take it easy baby take it as it comes

Re: Transformers - Star Wars Style

Re: Transformers - Star Wars Style

I think they did a pretty good job turning them into transformers, they look complicated. I didnt get the jango one because to me it seemed like a rip off cause he was just a repaint, nothing special.

Re: Transformers - Star Wars Style

I kinda didnt like them because they just look too weird to me. The Vader one has a shield. I dont like the mix.

Re: Transformers - Star Wars Style

Wasn't there 1 that was the Millenium Falcon and it changed into both Chewie and Han? I think that was the 1 on the commercial...

Re: Transformers - Star Wars Style

Yah i remember seeing one just last night of boba fett/ slave one. it was sorta cool, wouldn't spend the 20- 30 bucks they asked for on it though.

My wife knows that's always my first stop whenever we go to a Target or Wal-Mart.  I guess you can't take the little boy out of the man when it comes to some things.

I also think that. But then again I prefer Star Wars merchandise that has a practical use (like cups, towels, key rings etc)
