Topic: Family Guy, ESB Episode: Fett as Giant Chicken

IESB.net talked with Mila Kunis about the upcoming The Empire Strikes Back parody episode at the 100th episode party for "Family Guy" on 10/29/07:

"The first thing on any Star Wars fans’ mind? Who will be Boba Fett? MacFarlane says the Giant Chicken would fill Fett’s boots. The Giant Chicken’s fights with Peter parody Hollywood action films and usually cause huge amounts of damage to the city and can last upwards of 7 minutes."

i am reasonably giddy. that should be nothing short of HIlarious.

Thats awesome. And honestly, I guessed it a while back. I told myself, the chicken will be Fett, I know it!

Too bad they're putting it on DVD first and TV second.

I'm ecstatic that we're getting it on dvd first. Not everyone gets brain-destroying tv. And yet people seem to cater to tv first.

And I think the chicken is a good choice for Boba.

I really want to watch that soon.

Adult Swim is doing a preview this Sunday, or at least so they say.

i watched an online (and uncut) copy. this was way better than the first one. funnier, better jokes, everything.

It was taken down :D the DVD comes out on Tuesday, so just buy it.

Loved the chicken as Fett. Peter's natural nemisis. It worked. Just wish the chicken would have had a brawl with Peter for old time sake.

I'd forgotten we have a thread for this. I liked the chicken as Boba, and I agree, they should have had a fight.

I don't get why they made fun of Lando wearing Han's clothes. Like what else was he going to wear? The same clothes he wore when they escaped from Cloud City and didn't have time to swing by his apartments to grab more? Stylish Lando Calrissian wear the same thing from day to day? Never! Han's about the same size so why not?

Well it is kind of funny. A rich guy like that. You would think he would have swung by a place like corusant ( Sp) and picked up something. Cause hey Han wasn't going any where.

I don't think they had time. And now being on the run from the Empire going to Imperial Center (Coruscant, is the spelling, btw) would be a bad idea. Dunno if he really had a whole lot of money with him at the time. He probably did have a bit. It did take them till the next year to rescue Han.

Yeah. Blue Harvest is the ANH equivalent. The title of this thread says that this happens in the ESB equivalent which is called Something, Something, Something, Dark Side.
