The stars under you name relate to the amount of times that you have posted. The more posts then the more stars. Though spamming to get stars is not liked.

There is an edit button on the bottom right corner of your post. You can use that to add comments to a post rather than post twice in a row.

You can instant message BFFC Admin and ask him to change it for you. Because you are a new member, I would suggest that instead of doing that, just make another account with the new name, and do not use your current account.
