Inverse just interviewed Temuera Morrison, touting that he's broken his silence about the future of #BobaFett: https://www.inverse.com/entertainment/temuera-morrison-boba-fett-future
In response to him asking fans to send Lucasfilm fan mail on his behalf, he shared that Lucasfilm then gave him a call: "Look, you’ve been put on the shelf, Boba Fett. We might open up the jar later." He responds to that with, "[I'm] shelved, that’s all, like a jar of peaches. When it does get opened, I’m going to come out sweeter, darling."
Last year, Temuera shared a similar story to Collider using the peaches reference, but this new one followed up the push for fan mail
