"Holiday Special" and "Droids" Voice

No voice actor listed in Boba Fett's first appearance, Star Wars Holiday Special, an animated segment that premiered November 17, 1978.

We confirmed with Nelvana's Clive Smith who worked on the cartoon personally that it was Don Francks. "Yes it was the late Don Francks, a wonderful multi-talented friend. Actor and Jazz singer. Miss him very much," he shared with BFFC in May 2025. Previously, Cree Summer, the daughter of Don Francks, also told Great Big Story that Don was the first voice of Boba Fett. The official Star Wars website, IMDb, and Nerf-Herders-Anonymous also say it was Don Francks.

For Boba Fett in the Droids animated series in 1985, it's believed Don Francks did the voice.
