Originally slated for March 7, 1997 but moved to March 14 due to the success of the prior two Special Edition films released earlier in the year.
Additional footage and effects added to the film.
Boba Fett is added walking in the shadows in Jabba's Palace (portrayed by Nelson Hall) as well as hanging out with Jabba's dancers (portrayed by Don Bies).
