It's quite alright, with the acknowledgment in your edit. Maybe add DarthKuk, too, because he drew the initial sketch, which I inked and colored digitally. (inked with Photoshop and colored with Corel Painter)

Yes, those are my icons. I make them for the Jedi Council Forums on TheForce.Net, like many other icon artists do, and once a week, all new icons are voted upon and those who make it get uploaded, like the very ones you linked. I'm flattered that it's your favorite site. :D I don't update to regularly, but you might check for new stuff once a month. ;)

Good drawings.  I don't think I've ever seen a helmet with that color of green trim before.  Usually it's a brighter green.  The colors reallly compliment well with each other.  Looks very sharp.  I like the Mandalorian font going down the front side of his armor.  What does it say?  I can't find my Mando font translation picture.  This is what I get for having too much crap on my computer.

Thanks, man! Glad you like it. :) It reads "Kyram", rather lame, I know... I just put it there to have at least some kind of symbolic element... (apart from the symbols, of course :P) You will understand when you regard Gladus's character. Don't wanna advertise, so go find out about that yourself. ;) ^^

Are you talking image links? Because if so, it doesn't work all the time. Better post the links to your Deviation, where they can view the artwork.

I finally worked on my Deviant album yesterday--posted a LOT of stuff there.  I didn't see any image links similar to photobucket, but I see what you mean by posting links to the Deviation, Corran.  Thanks!

Hey, I'm kind of new at this.....but whadda ya think?   I know the last one isn't Mando, but a couple of friends of mine are HUGE Halo fans, so I drew it anyway.   I drew the pics on paper, then scanned them into my computor and colored them with adobe photoshop elements 4......

BTW, sorry aboout the resoulution, but you can only upload files of a certain size.   If you want a high res image, email me at jessmiller23@yahoo.com.

I've already seen it over at Karen's Yahoo group, good job. Well done coloring, I like the second one best, cool pose and smooth art. Oh, and you can upload hi-res images to ImageShack, you'll just have to compress the jpgs a bit to keep 'em under 1,5MB - that should normally work, if by "hi-res" you're talking under 4000x3000px, e.g.

Very Good!  Yes it is....she happens to be on of my friends favorite character (and one of mine).  I sent it to Mr. Wu at HBO about two months ago, but he hasn't gotten it up yet, its still in his inbox.

BTW, High res is actually an 8.5" x 11" pic at 300 pixels per inch......you do the math.......and they are actually about 4 MB each.  And I have no idea how to compress it, so....how do you do that?

Yeah, well, I was just using a huge number to express my thoughts^^ Uncompressed, it's 4 MB, yep... but you can first change the DPI value to about 72 (standard for web) and then save it as a 90% compressed JPG - it's still looking cool, then.

In PS, you choose Edit->Image Size and change the resolution from 300 to 72. Then, you will notice the Pixel Dimensions drop to something lower, so just type the old data in... the resolutions stays at 72, though.

Once you did that, just go Save As->JPG, click Okay, and in the next dialogue, there's "Image Quality". Up to 8 it still looks good, and you can see the size it will be on the right. Adjust that Quality setting so that you stay under 1,5 MB. ;)

I reeeaaally need to pay attention to this section....I haven't read any threads here for ages.  Apparently some people (out of BFFC) want me to attempt a Mando drawing as well, but I don't know how that will go.  With luck, I may post it within the next few weeks.

Just put a link up. Copy and paste it into the message text box and it'll automatically make it into a link that we can click to see the picture. You have the picture already uploaded to someplace like photobucket already, right? Well there should be a URL you can copy.

No, I only have the pic on my laptop, and it's on the harddrive.  I can't link it from the Internet cause it's not ON the Internet :)

Unfortunatly, I don't believe you can.  You need to get a membership to a place like photobucket.  Fortunatly it's free.

No.  Check the faqs on the site but I believe there isn't.
