this one sides with the "true Fett." Let the jihad begin... ;)
1-Now, now, no need to slap Boba. Slap Travis. She created this...this...blasphemous plot line (actually the little infidel didn't even create it she stole it from Tales. Then made it 'canon' *shudder* and making Tales canon? that's just wrong to start with...)
2- :D "true Fett" yep, let us go forth and smash the infidels...or at the very least poke them a bit.
Smart man, you just put yourself up at a pretty high notch in my book. Welcome to the boards.

Boba: Lord Vader, I bring good news.--Vader: You have captured Solo?--Boba: No.--Vader: Then what is it?--Boba: I just saved 15% on starship insurance by switching to Geiko! {MW} The Sintas/Ailyn case and their canonization made me realize I don't care about Boba Fett anymore, well not as much as I used to. So whatever he could've done in his past and anything happening to him because of it couldn't matter much since he's old and belongs to the Empire era. Well anyway that's the way it seems to me.
There needs to be a new Mandalorian hero, despite that heavy paradox (since there is no translation for "hero" in mando'a :P) or some new people to carry around the might and dread that the Fetts symbolized in their own times.
But I would disapprove the "lineage" thing, bringing up some obscure liaison that Fett might've had with a woman on some remote planet, giving him offspring and hoping to use them growing into new characters that would try to be as cool and dangerous as the famous bounty hunter... That's just cheap, in my opinion.
I'd love to read about characters that have their own self-standing identity, with no relation at all with the movie heroes if you know what I mean.
Fan art Personally i wouldnt like them try to make a new charecter similar to Boba they wouldnt be able to make him/her as cool, and i dont want them to make somone better than Fett.
I'm smiling because they havn't found the bodies yet. :)
I think, therfore i am I destroy, therfore i endure - IG-88 tales of the bounty hunters I'm liking Beviin in Bloodlines---he seems to be a pretty cool Mando! :)

Didn't know Ailyn Vel was a goth chick. Interesting.
doesn't ailyn have a tattoo across her eye? i didn't see it in there.

―Peter Griffin Yea she has a Kiffar tatoo because of Sintas i think.
I'm smiling because they havn't found the bodies yet. :)
I think, therfore i am I destroy, therfore i endure - IG-88 tales of the bounty hunters Yeah, across her left eye according to Bloodlines. And that is the way I have seen her depicted---dark blue lips and all--I would say that part is Kiffar trait too?
I stayed with those traits as well with my drawing of her.

Looks like he based it on the picture drawn of her in the Star Wars Insider "Madalorians 101" article.

I don't think the blue lips is a Kiffar trait. Remember that Quinlan Vos is a Kiffar also, and his lips ain't blue. It's probably just lipstick, I'd think.
--Sadriel Fett (BFFC Moderator)
"I'm just a simple Fan, trying to make my way in the universe." I think the blue lip stick and nails are pretty cool. XD
"Next time I'll just reach over and pull somebody's head off." Ahhh yes, I forgot about Vos...
Yeah! LOL either way, I still wouldn't want to get on her bad side... :p
"Train your sons to be strong, but your daughters to be stronger."--Karen Traviss, Bloodlines Don't you guys think that the blue is to cliche? I mean it's not Jango's colors exactly but maybe something on the other side of the color spectrum...unless their is a speific reason that i haven't read of yet.

I agree. Can't explain why I don't like the lipstick, nail polish matching with her outfit, or the choice of colour. For the little that I like of her, she doesn't come off as the really "superficial" type. Unless she wants to prove to herself that she's a hardcore Kiffar, then I think it's kind of lame and desperate.
Fan art I wonder if she's able to "read" objects by touching them, like Quinlan Vos was able to do? I had heard that was a Kiffar trait. That would make tracking bounties pretty easy.

"I'm just a simple Fan, trying to make my way in the universe." The word is psychometry. it translates into "the weighing of the soul" in Greek.
take it easy baby take it as it comes o great lol now Ailyn is like the guy from Dead Zone...lol tis kind of funny in a way.

Agreed. He made me smile alot.
"Next time I'll just reach over and pull somebody's head off." Yeah Beviin was pretty cool but i didnt like the way he kept bringing up the subject that Boba isnt a proper mando.
I'm smiling because they havn't found the bodies yet. :)
I think, therfore i am I destroy, therfore i endure - IG-88 tales of the bounty hunters I'm glad Beviin is there as a "coach" :)
"Train your sons to be strong, but your daughters to be stronger."--Karen Traviss, Bloodlines If Boba had raised Ailyn himself, and if she liked him, then I would like her, but without any further info on her at this point it just seems like she has an anger management problem (I don't blame her, but it's still irritating.) It's difficult for me to like someone who hates Boba. And it wouldn't have mattered if she had been a boy. I wanted Fett to have a daughter anyway, just not like this. The only thing I like about Ailyn is her design--it would be awesome to dress as her at a convention.
I also like Beviin; he was the real light of the new book for me. And I liked how he used petnames for Boba--I never thought someone could get away with that. The man has guts.

Wow, that's amazing. If only I could pull that off, if only.

I totally agree! I thought that was unusual too, but I guess Boba respected him enough...
Nice pics of Ailyn! Yeah, it is a cool costume
"Train your sons to be strong, but your daughters to be stronger."--Karen Traviss, Bloodlines ok, i will probably get shot for saying this, but i kinda like the idea of boba fett having a daughter. i mean, that issue of star wars tales where they introduced the concept rocked, and the idea of boba fett having a daughter and trying to cover it up was awesome! i think the idea of her trying to kill him was alright... i wish they wouldve had a showdown or something.... alas, it never happened.... when people say its out of fetts character to have a child, i disagree: boba was like, 17 when he had her, therefor, he was hormonally charged... yes, even the galaxy's greatest bounty hunter was hormonally charged at one point..... idk i think the hole thing adds another dimension to fetts character.
blarg.blargblargblarg. blarga. " All he could think about was i'm to young for this." j/k j/k
Yeah, i also like the idea of Boba having a daughter too. I means that there's someone left to carry on the Fett family.
Bal kote, Darasuum kote. Jorso'ran kando a tome - And glory, eternal glory, We shall bear it's weight together. My opinions on this issue are as follows: This relates to Boba Fett's characteristics in no way, shape or form; It is indeed a sign of weakness, and soft points in Fett's armor, and do I like it? Of course not! Can I change what has already been written? Doubt it. I stick by all of us here at the BFFC in the fact that I know what the Real Fett would do, and I am entitled to that thought. Nothing, not even written word will change that for me.
To look into that helmet's concealing visor was to meet a gaze as ruthless and unsentimental as his own...-Prince Xizor "It is indeed a sign of weakness, and soft points in Fett's armor..."
well, thank you captain obvious that was my point! the fact that he was human when he tries to act anything but that adds another dimension to his character! ya know, it makes him a more interesting character and stuff. i will probably get shot (again) for saying this, but having boba fett being an almighty person with *no weaknesses whatsoever* would get old after a while.
blarg.blargblargblarg. blarga. oh, by the way, i totally agree w/you Kandosii. forgot to put that on my last post....
blarg.blargblargblarg. blarga. Yes, theres still Boba's grand-daughter. If i remember right, she killed the man who killed her mother.
Not much is really known after that.
Bal kote, Darasuum kote. Jorso'ran kando a tome - And glory, eternal glory, We shall bear it's weight together. yeah something like that.... at one point she found one of jango's clones or something who wore armor similar to boba's and killed him because she thought he was boba....
blarg.blargblargblarg. blarga. djchicken wrote:Oh, by the way, I totally agree with you Kandosii. I forgot to put that on my last post.
There is an edit button used for such reasons. I do not recall Ailyn's daughter doing what you said, but Ailyn killed Spar and took his armor.
take it easy baby take it as it comes ***spoilers***
Yeah, that's what I understand: Ailyn went after Boba, and thought she had him, but it was a clone.
Mirta Gev, Boba's granddaughter, killed Thracken Sal-Solo--he blew the cover of Ailyn which eventually led to her death. That was one of my favorite parts of that book: when Han Solo, Boba Fett and Mirta Gev all gang up on him, and SHE gets the first shot LOL. Now I can't wait to see what else happens with Boba and Mirta.
"Train your sons to be strong, but your daughters to be stronger."--Karen Traviss, Bloodlines Mirta shot first! :D :D :D
Really? Which story was that in?
Bal kote, Darasuum kote. Jorso'ran kando a tome - And glory, eternal glory, We shall bear it's weight together. The only story that Mirta was in.
take it easy baby take it as it comes Bloodlines...I'm sure she'll be in the next installment Karen Traviss writes--that would be Sacrifice, right?
"Train your sons to be strong, but your daughters to be stronger."--Karen Traviss, Bloodlines I just figured out something! Sintas had to be invented and Boba's loner attitude had to be ruined because too many idiots thought Boba Fett was gay just because he didn't have or want a girlfriend!

Boba: Lord Vader, I bring good news.--Vader: You have captured Solo?--Boba: No.--Vader: Then what is it?--Boba: I just saved 15% on starship insurance by switching to Geiko! {MW} i dno thats kinda pushing the envelope, yet seems plausible all the same

No!!!!!!!!!!!!! In A Comic It Says The Life Of A Bounty Hunter Is A Lone One
Lord Optima stronger then strong scarier then scary and powerful enough to blow up a galaxy but don't think i can't be bothered killing pethedic people like you 1. Comics are not completely canon.
2. That is a general statment that has been proven otherwise on occasion.
3. As far as expanded universe goes, Aylin and Sintas are canon.
take it easy baby take it as it comes Yes, Ailyn and Sintas are canon now with Bloodlines, though they had appeared in a comic at some point.

Boba is not someone who I would call gay. Like definately not. Besides as many people have stated there is nothing wrong with not having a girlfriend. If you really thought about it, his loner attitude is what makes him so cool. The whole independant thing only furthers his coolness and I think how they keep writing stories that explain more about him it ruins the mysterious aura surrounding Boba Fett.

I totally agree with that, but what I'm saying is that there are a lot of idiots who just assume he's gay if he has no girlfriend.
