Topic: IF Boba Fett never fell into the Sarlaac

What do you think would have happened if Boba never fell into the Sarlaac and left Jabba's palace with Dengar.

Well, a few things would happen. Slave 1 would have been taken away from him, so he would have to travel a long way to make it to Mos Eisley to get a spacer to pilot for him, or to purchase a new ship. On the way though, Kuat of Kuat was bombing the Dune Sea, so Fett probably would have been killed by that. But Fett doesn't die easily, he might have found cover inside of a cave or something. Or he might have attempted to return to Jabba's Palace first, only to find his ship gone. Then he would head to Mos Eisley...

He would have hunted Solo and killed him for the heck of it.  I HATE HAN SOLO!!!!!

Hmm, he might get back at luke for turning his blaster into shrapnel.
Ooh, shoot the force pike holding Lando up out of the Sarlaac, then hit Han in the back[revenge, it must feel good] and send him toppling after Lando

After sending Han and Lando to the sarlacc, wouldn't Chewie be mad at Boba?

Probably, but Boba's wookie scalps are evident that he can handle a wookie. So Chewie might not be a big problem.

I thought Lucas changed those to Jedi scalps to give more of a "I hate all Jedi, they all must be destroyed!" persona for him. I like wookie, i mean, who really wants to fight Chewbacca?

Jedi scalps...that's quite gruesome.
I think they're still Wookiee pelts...Wookiees are a pretty common bounty during the Empire era, them being slaves and all. 
Still somewhat uncharacteristic of Fett to have trophies...other than those pelts I don't think he has any other ones.  Must hold some importance to him then?

I agree that's gross.  Wookiee pelt's seem more like what Boba would kill.

I think they're Wookiee scalps. Long, long ago at sw.com in the databank it said they're Wookiee braids, but then over time it was changed to not saying what they are. Also, they're a bit thick to be padawan braids unless Boba braided all their hair and didn't just take the padawan braids.

Yeah, they have to be wookie pelts. Boba doesn't have any real grudge against the Jedi or anything... Or does he?

If he never fell in he'd have continued to battle on.
And presumably, turned the tide.
Called in Vader.
The fight between Vader and Luke may not have happened. Vader could have turned Luke. Or killed luke and gone after Leia. They could have taken on Palpatine.
And Vader and V. jr, would rule the galaxy together as father and son, or daughter.

Last but not least, the Death Star would not be destroyed, become operational, and then laid waste to those Vong sons of bitches. (not to mention a whole bunch of other planets)

Hmmm...interesting alternate history idea.

In the all Fett issue of Star Wars Tales, there are Jedi heads hanging on the walls in the Slave I.

See, exactly my point, and in another he has trophies [lightsabers and stuff] over Jedi he's killed. I still hope it's wookie though

Hm, I see... I still think those braids on his shoulder are wookiee pelts though. They are far too long to be from Jedi.

I think they're Wookie pelts, and if I recall correctly (which on Friday evenings is a real crap shoot), they were taken from a crazed and evil criminal killer Wookie: one very atypical for his species.  I can't recall what book I read that in as everything kind of blurs together.

Then again, I seem to recall that SW Tales were also the idiots who said that Boba was married. Therefore I will disregard this very disturbing news entirely.

Star Wars tales arent legit either so you realyl cant go by what you see in the comics. Morbid, Christ what wrong with people.....Dont listen to Comics! They lie! I meen damn, Darth vader and other charecters had flashy motercycles, and boba fett had a Slave two that turned into a Transformer.

I think some of Tales are canon, but others deffinately aren't. I'm not sure what to think with that particular Boba one.

I agree, Boba is kind of a neat freak, near the begginning of The Mandalorian Armor he's cleaning the cages himself because he wants do do it himself, even though he has a droid that would do it for him.

Personally, I'm glad he fell into the Sarlacc.  What were his options, really?  Continue trying to defend Jabba, when the Flanneled One and everyone else was on the opposing side?  Logically (because it is nearly impossible to defeat a hero in a Star Wars movie) he could not have won the battle, so he would have been forced to give up and walk away.  That would have been very dishonoring, plus if Jabba survived he wouldn't have been very happy with Fett.  Falling into a Sarlacc is the only excuse for missing out on such an impossible battle.

And I figure this way Boba suvived the sail barge explosion, he was safe and sound in the sarlacc. :P

Part of what drew me to Fett even more as i grew older was the fact he fell into the pitt. As a 3 year old watching that, IT really scared me, and this was before it had a beak(when it was just a big hole with tentacles). As i got older and found out he got out of the pit, it drew me even mre to fett. It was "woa, he got out of that pitt, no one else ever did". If you ever get the chance to read "A Barve like this" then u understand about how Boba dosnt quit, he dosnt fell sorry for himself, he just dosn't quite, and got out". It just shows how much grit and determination he has. Also ppl love gory deaths in movies(well i do), and been digested (or rather the thought of some1 been digested) is pretty gory. If he had been defeatd like other members of Jabba's retinue, i.e sliced with a lightsaber, then it wouldn't have that appeal.

SO if he didnt fall in, then i dnt think he would have been as popular.

If Boba never fell in the Sarlacc pit then that scene would be the end of the movie.

I think if boba fett didnt fall into the sarlacc gut......then he would not be so popular for having survived it. This site might not even be here    if that happened.....think of that!!!!(noooooooo)........the whole sarlacc idea gives boba an extreme toughness about him.....i mean    surviving the sarlacc......only boba fett could have done that.......so really it only adds to his rep. :D

Well...If Im not mistaken... Acording to the Bounty Hunter Wars, Dengar finds Boba Fett in the Dune Sea on the brink of death. Apperently, he seemed to have blown up the Sarlacc.

This is totally true.

Thanx.....and yeah, i read a book about this twilek and this other guy....forget his name....might have been dengar.....and they nursed him back to health after finding him among the wreckage of jabba's skiff. They were one of the few people to see his face......and considered themselves lucky.

Manaroo is not a Twi'lek. She's got light blue skin and I think brown hair, with little tattoos of stars and moons on her ankles and wrists. At least that's what I remember anyway. She can dance really well, and she starts out with Dengar, and Dengar takes her to Bespin where he's just going to dump her off but when the city comes under attack they ride together and end up on Tatooine where she manages to find a job dancing at Jabba's. At least I think that's what happens, it's been a while since I read it.

You think that Boba couldn't handle chewbaca?  Chewie would be like sleep practice for him, hes's dealed with much worse than chewbaca, like Rye Kooda, for iinstance, and Bossk, who is about as strong as Chewbacca and more vicious.

hmmm... If he didn't  fall into the sarlacc, Luke would have, and then Boba would've killed Han/ Lando and Chewie, and Leia. Then, after the empire annihilated the rebellion. boba would still hunt. Then, during the Yuuzhan Vhong invasion, boba would take a bounty on the yuuzhan leader, killed him, ended the war, then used the money to retirw=e to south Korea to raise miniature goats. Yup.

Although, i think Chewie's devotion to han would drive him into a rage that's never been seen before in a wookie. It would be a close battle i would say, as long as Boba kept out of reach of Chewie...he would have the upper hand. Otherwise, one step too close and Boba is now a mangled hunk of ripped up body parts completely demolished. Don't underestimate the power of the wookie. Yes Boba has some scalps, but i bet he never grappled with one up close.

In a comic that have, Fett killed an enraged Wookie with ease. Also, Trandoshans are about equal to a Trandason, and Boba bests Bossk on a regular basis.
