Funko Pop #08: Boba Fett ("Prototype")
Description
Released July 19, 2015.
U.S.: Walgreens exclusive
U.K.: Underground Toys exclusive
Australia: retailers like Popcultcha were also allowed to sell this
On the back of the U.S. version, some boxes have a typo: "Wallgreens." Whoops!
According to our source within the company, the first batch does not have an "exclusive" sticker, which these sorts of things normally have. That will be fixed for future batches.
If you have trouble finding this, call ahead. Ask for the clerk to check a WIC (Walgreens Item Code) number: 907618. That's the number for the entire POP assortment. Then ask for "Boba Fett (Prototype)." According to our contact at Walgreens, the figure is selling incredibly fast. They also "have more coming and will continue to replenish for a year."
Item number: 5539
