Fett's bio in the game is a bit controversial and may contain a typo. (It also highlights how games are generally not canon, like Battlefront, especially because there's no story mode.)

Boba Fett is a seasoned Mandalorian bounty hunter. He is a dangerous and resourceful warrior, full of gadgets and concealed weapons.

The problem here is that no bio for Boba Fett says that he's Mandalorian. Almost everything says he just wears Mandalorian armor.
