Story: THE SEARCH FOR COUNT DOOKU
Timeline: 0 months after THE BATTLE OF GEONOSIS (Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones)
Boba Fett is trapped in the lair of someone who he thinks is a friend... but is really an enemy. Escape becomes the only option, though attempting to escape has its own risks. Boba must survive to fight for what he believes in... and must also fight to survive.
"A bounty hunter is an outlaw, a tracker -- and sometimes a killer -- for hire. He doesn't care who his targets are, or who they're running from, or why. He works for the highest bidder, which means the richest and the most ruthless beings in the galaxy. No question asked.
"Being a bounty hunter's son means keeping your mouth shut and your eyes open.
"No problem. Boba Fett was proud of his father and proud of what he did. "I'm a bounty hunter's son," he would say to himself proudly.
"The reason he said it to himself and to no one else, was that he had no one else to say it to.
"He had no friends.
"How can you have friends when you live and travel in secret, sneaking on and off planets, avoiding police and security and the dreaded, nosy, Jedi Knights.
"A bounty hunter must always be ready to go anywhere and face any danger. That was from Jango Fett's code, the rule by which he lived.
"Boba Fett had his own, smaller, more personal, code: A bounty hunter's kid must always be ready to go with him."
The Boba Fett series starts here! This adventure, which takes place between Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, follows Boba Fett as a teenager. On his home planet of Kamino, he has no friends, no school. The one thing he does have is a future as a bounty hunter like his father, Jango Fett. But when young Boba Fett finds himself alone in a dangerous galaxy, he must fight for safety.
"I'm a bounty hunter's son."
