Topic: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

Little over 6 hours until Chapter 15 premieres on Disney+.

Spoilers Ahead

Two episodes left, following Temuera confirming finally he's Boba Fett and not only that – he's driving Mando around places in Slave I.

Rick Famuyiwa is confirmed as the writer for tonight's episode. (Previously, he co-write Season 1 Episode 6 with Christopher Yost.) According to IMDb (which is not always correct in advance of a premiere), he's also directing.

Plot wise, Mando no longer has a ship. Grogu is captured. What do you think will happen? Post your guessed until this spoiler thread turns into a recap thread of spoilers!

We also might see the return of Bill Burr! I shall be ready to have a good laugh big_smile

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

Boba Fett is back ... with a fresh coat of paint now.

Slave I is in this, with Bill Burr's character.

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

BroBa Fett, think that's a reference to "Twin Engines of Destruction" – the "this is my face" line?

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

My jaw dropped seeing the interior of Slave I !!!! Laughed hard at the TPS reports and Din throwing back Moff Gideon’s own line, it’s going down next week!!!

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

EmpressCarri, the interior! Functional and different than we've ever seen before. So cool indeed!

I rather think it's a reference to his clone face

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

Boba Fett french, makes sense too given the need to take the helmet off – very true.

Exactly! It’s refreshing to see it live and not in a technical manual! I have to watch that moment again. It’s such an awesome ship.

Great to see the EE-3.

Also, sound of spurs?

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

I note that Boba has taken back his ESB jetpack
A EE-3 carbine rifle
And... his other knee pad

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

Actually seeing the cockpit interior rotate was pretty neat.  And those seismic charges never get old.  smile

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

Looks like he repainted the jetpack to ESB colors and the gauntlets to ROTJ colors.  Didn't get a good look at his jetpack on the scrapyard.  I assume they kept the repair patch-job plate on the back?

Looks like a third variant for his EE-3 rifle.  Obviously, it's not the same one Luke cut in half, but it's also visibly different from the old ROTJ version.  The "fins" along the barrel don't stick out as much on this one.  Nice to see he's still using one, though.

Wonder how long the clean paint job will last? It is going to take a while to get used to it.

Yeah, I thought it looked like he had another knee pad again, when he was walking down the access ramp.

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

Kinda liked the scraped up and melted plant job. It looked more intimidating.

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

Oh man, love, love seeing the new paint job Boba did on his armor, brings new life to Boba. Awesome to see more of Slave 1 in action and it's interior. I really like how they are keeping both Din and Boba relevant, just exciting! Can't wait for more.

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

Is it me, or does it look like they still put the "patch job plate" on the back of his ESB colored jetpack anyways, even though you can see the ROTJ version he recovered in the previous episode sitting inside the Slave 1?  There's a faint outline of something diagonally that looks like the same area the patch is located, in the pic above.

Oops.  Something else to digitally edit out, I guess?

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 7

I was just thinking.  Is this the first time we've ever seen the back of Boba's torso armor on screen, without a jetpack?  I mean, we see it on figures and statues and the like all the time, but I don't ever remember seeing it on-screen at any point before now.  He's obviously not wearing a jetpack in ESB, when he's in Slave 1 and tracking the Millennium Falcon after hiding in the garbage.  But, you can't make out the back of his armor because of the pilots chair.
