Topic: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6

Less than 12 hours until Chapter 14 drops on Disney+.

Spoilers Ahead

With three episodes left, when might Temuera show up again and finally identify himself as Boba Fett?

With the plot headed towards a Jedi temple, who might be there?

Will the episode be directed by Robert Rodriguez (confirmed for one, but not clear which one) or is someone else taking it on?

Will the rumors of it being a shorter episode be correct?

Happy To discuss soon as I’ve seen it

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6

If we’re headed to the temple maybe we’ll see  Luke or maybe a brand new Jedi character all together.

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6

Jango is officially Mandalorian.

Boba is back!

All and all loved it, thought the acting itself was a bit.. off, but the action was great and I'm just so incredibly happy to see Boba get his armor back even if he looks like he's gained a few pounds, I dig the new look. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6

Yup... just realized mando’s pulse rifle got destroyed along with the Crest

Take a look at the Mando'a hologram on the gauntlet. Something that should get translated.

Official press images. These always avoid the big spoilers, but nice hi-res. (Sometimes they even include Jeans Guy in the background. No joke.)

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6

So, so happy Boba and Slave 1 are back! Great episode smile Now, I hope Mando did NOT leave his backpack behind.

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6

These short episodes  are KILLING me!! But this one was so awesome anyway! "I'm just a simple man, trying  to make my way in the universe..."

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6

Great episode! Seeing Slave 1 fly into frame and I nearly fell out of my chair. Then the “simple man” line and seeing nomad Boba destroy the troopers with the gaffi stick. So much to enjoy before we even got to the return of the armor. Knee darts!!!! I’ve been waiting 40 years to see those in live action rather than just in my head. Thanks to Favreau and Feloni and now Robert Rodriguez!

A few notes:
1) Best Mandalorian Episode BY FAR.
2) I would've preferred if Boba stayed a little quieter, y'know to give him more of that "silent but deadly" vibe but overall, HE IS PERFECT.

Honestly this tops last episode for me, as beautiful as the directing was. This was awesome.

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6

THE KING IS BACK, BABY!

I was so happy with the treatment of Fett in this episode. For so long, this guy has been a criminally underdeveloped character (in terms of live action, on-screen presence) for one who is also so iconic.

Favreau, with so little detail, has not only managed to give Boba a more nuanced role - that he has for so long deserved - but he's also managed to, retroactively, give Jango a credible Mandalorian history, so that he isn't just some pretender in a suit of armor. We now know that Jango, too, was a foundling and - like his Legends counterpart - fought in the Mandalorian Civil War.

Its a huge boost, too, for the level of performance that Tem Morrison has been able to give onscreen in Star Wars, too. Jango was such a monosyllabic, simplistic character that I was afraid this rendition of Fett would be the same. But Favreau has managed to write to Morrison's strengths, and there was more than a little of that seething ferocity that Morrison imbued into the infamous Jake 'the Muss' Heke added to the scarred Fett. Morrison finally had a role that he could sink his teeth into and act - rather than just being a brooding bruiser in a suit of armor. I feel Morrison's performance in this role alone far and above excelled his performance in Attack of the Clones, as he had a larger meatier role to play.

It is my hope that Fett, Boba at least, get's the character development he truly deserves and that Morrison, too, gets to flex his acting muscles in playing the 'simple man' with the dented helmet as well as other characters that share his face.

Re: The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6

Hi guys! My first post here, so great to find a whole forum dedicated for Boba!

So this episode meant a huge deal for me. Been a  big fan of Star Wars ever since I was a kid, and Boba Fett has always, *always* been my favorite character.

But you know, in the films he "died" and that was that. Then came the EU and well, it's just not the same.

Then came this episode and goddamn. My nerdy wish, finally fulfilled! Boba is canonically alive and kicking ***! They really did him justice, Temuera performed him perfectly. I like, laughed when he got that armor back, it was like fan service overload in the best way possible.
(Star Wars : Bounty Hunters comic series has been a good pre snack to this meal of an episode, btw)

...and because human mind sucks now my biggest fear is that they kill him again.

ps: sorry about my shitty english!
