Topic: Do you like George Lucas?

Sorry if this has been done before but...

Do you like George Lucas?
Personally i think he is FANTASTIC at the BIG picture and plot but he is pretty bad at dialog and APPALLING at love stories.
As much as i LOVE the prequels and i think they are the best movies ever made and even better the the origional trilogy i  think Lucas should have handed over to a better directer like to did with Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi and Lucas should have just done the plot and some dialog.

but what do you think?

Re: Do you like George Lucas?

There a good things and bad things, just like with any person. Somethings work better than other, but every one seems to think about each of them differently. What I like I bet is way different than what someone else may enjoy.

Re: Do you like George Lucas?

He has got alot of my money off me but he created something that has changed the face of entertainment as we know it! So he has my respect............and my money!(did I mention that?)

" Hi!"

Re: Do you like George Lucas?

He has got tons of money off me.

Re: Do you like George Lucas?

i think he should have wrote the basic script for phantom menace, attackof the clone and revenge of the sith but gotten someone else to do the love stories and improve eppy 1 dialog

i also think it would have worked so much better to get one of the original trilogy directors back for the prequeals.

Re: Do you like George Lucas?

i would have to see him do a movie other than star wars then i would decide.

Re: Do you like George Lucas?

It's undeniable that he is *or cirtainly was....some might argure about now  tongue* a total GENIOUS for the original concept and the depth he brought to it.  Revan07 may have a point that he probably should have taken a step back from some parts, but you gotta love him for giving us the univers that is SW.  No Lucas, no Boba or any of the others that we hold so dear

but he still could have done a better job with the Fetts.................. tongue

Re: Do you like George Lucas?

Re: Do you like George Lucas?

Since this isn't really about Film and TV, I'm moving this to the FANS forum.
