Re: What Star Wars books do you own?

Aaargh!! You own Boba Fett book 6????  I  got books 2, 4, and 5. I'm trying to get my little sister to buy book 6 so that I won't have too...
You ARE talking about the young Boba Fett books, right?

Yep. I got them all at Barnes and Noble. Of course they come no where close to the Bounty Hunter Wars Trilogy in greatness, but what else to expect from a scholastic book...

Re: What Star Wars books do you own?

This is gonna be a long list... All are softcover unless I say otherwise. I put an ...whatever that mark is one of these * by the books I have not read, I've read all the others. (The reference books don't really count as being "read" or "unread" since they're reference ones I just skim them)

The Jedi Apprentice series 1-18
The Jedi Apprentice Special Editions 1 and 2
Legacy of the Jedi
Darth Maul's Journal
Darth Maul: Shadow Hunter
Jedi Quest (the first, first one, it was a hardcover)
Outbound Flight Project *
The Approaching Storm
AOTC novel (hardcover)
The Boba Fett Series 1-6 (I have the hardcover of 1 and 2 and 3 if it had a hardcover? Or was that one soft from the start? I have them all in soft too anyway)
Shatterpoint
MedStars 1 and 2
Labrynth of Evil *
Last of the Jedi 1 *
The Han Solo Adventures (both the one book with all three in it and then the old original books)
The Lando Calrissian Adventures (The old originals) *
The Han Solo Trilogy
ANH Novel (old 1970s one, I actually have about five copies of this)
Han's Journal: Hero for Hire
Luke's Journal: The Fight For Justice
Leia's Journal: Captive to Evil
Tales from the Mos Eisely Cantina
Splinter of the Mind's Eye
ESB Novel (old 1980s one) *
Tales of the Bounty Hunters
Shadows of the Empire
ROTJ novel (old 1980s one) *
Tales from Jabba's Palace
The Bounty Hunter Trilogy
The Truce at Bakura
The Courtship of Princess Leia
Tatooine Ghost
The Thrawn Trilogy (those are softcover, but I do have two Heir to the Empire hardcovers)
The X-Wing Trilogy 1-9 (I somehow ended up with two Krytos Trap books)
The Jedi Acadamy Trilogy
I, Jedi
Children of the Jedi (I have two of these and I don't know why or how)
Darksaber
Planet of Twilight
The Crystal Star
Black Fleet Crises Trilogy *
The New Rebellion
The Corellian Trilogy *
The Hand of Thrawn Duology (both are softcover but I have one Vision of the Future hardcover) *
Young Jedi Knights: Jedi Bounty *
NJO: Hero's Trial *
Tales from the Empire
Tales from the New Republic

As for misc books:
The Making of TPM

A Guide to the SW Universe: Third Edition
The Illustrated SW Universe
SW Chronicles: The Prequels
SW: Panel to Panel
C-3PO and R2-D2 Answer Questions About Space
I can't remember the name of this but it's a kid's book about Jango, like "Reader 3" type of book, I am a bounty hunter by Jango or something like that.
A few "Adventures" rpg books, the really small ones and I don't know where they originally came from but I got them at a thrift store.
Choose Your Own Adventure: ANH
Choose Your Own Adventure: ESB
Choose Your Own Adventure: ROTJ
SW Trivia Book (from 1982, I think. One of the questions is "What's the name of the next SW episode?" the answer is listed as "Revenge of the Jedi")
The Official Price Guide to Star Wars Memorabilia NEW

I have a feeling I'm leaving some out though.... I know I'm forgetting at least a few books. Oh, well, I'll remember them later. This doesn't include comic books right? Cause if it did the list would be a lot longer.

Re: What Star Wars books do you own?

I'm trying to go in Chronological Order, so I need to read a few more series and books before I get to the NJO. But I can't wait to read it, I've been curious about the NJO for a long time now.

I was considering entirely going in Chronological order... The problem is, it would be many, many, many years before I would every even need to consider think about reading the NJO, with all of the NR books there are...

Re: What Star Wars books do you own?

Yeah, I started reading the books when I was 13, I'm just now up to where I need to read the Corellian Trilogy. But then I keep backtracking to the PT era now and then to read some new books, and every now and then I read a non-SW book. So, all in all it's took about 6 years to get up to where I am now.

Re: What Star Wars books do you own?

Mandalorian armor
Hard merchandise
Slave ship
Jedi healer
Battle surgeons
Tales from the mos eisley cantina
Tales of the bounty hunters
Tales from Jabba's palace
star wars episode 3
Tales from the empire
Jedi trial
Boba Fett enemy of the empire
Star wars tales number 18
Star wars new republic [can't remember the number]

I didn't really like tales from the empire, the picture on the front is boba and he isn't even in there. Oh well, the stories were ok, cantina was better.

Re: What Star Wars books do you own?

I had that problem with Tales from the Empire. I got all excited thinking there would be a story about Boba in it. But, if you can still find it, Tales from the New Republic has a great Boba story in it. I think it's called "No Disintagrations, Please". I know sw.com has been publishing old stories that aren't in print anymore, but I don't know if this one's made it on the site yet or not. (it might be a Hyperspace feature too, but I can't remember) Ebay or Amazon might have it.

Re: What Star Wars books do you own?

Jeez. Much less than you folks.
Tales of the Bounty Hunters
Tales of Jabba's Palace
Slave Ship
Mandalorian Armor
Hard Merchandise
X-Wing; Rogue Squadron
Dark Apprentice
Truce at Bakura
I, Jedi (Hardback wink)
Star Wars
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
Han Solo Trilogy

Other fun books
Some DK books, like the one with the cross sections of the ships, the Star Wars one that looks like a DK Dictionary;
The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels
The Essential Guide to Weapons and Technology
-and-
What is this book called? It has a gold cover, and has all of the planets in the earlier Star Wars universe in it, but it's travelogues by various people, like a rebel, a scout, etc. Had some really nice concept drawings in it, and for the life of me, I can't find it.

EDIT: Oh, and I totally forgot, I have all the nice Star Wars storybooks (Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi) and even though they're meant for little kids, sometimes they can be a good read.

It is by far the best read I've ever had. I got so abosorbed into it, that  I found myself actually muttering various things about the Yuuzhan Vong gods while out with friends. Was kinda wierd O_O

Re: What Star Wars books do you own?

I have most of the older novels, I think I've only got one of the New Order. The last book I bought was Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader, before that I bought and read the MedStar books. Besides most of my books are in boxes at the moment. Moving will do that tongue

I dunno, I kinda lost interest in the books with Leia, Han and Luke. Luke was interesting enough but the other two got really boring after a while. Though I did enjoy the Han Solo Trilogy.
