Imperial I-class Star Destroyer VS Boba Fett's Slave 1

The Star Destroyer has Tie-Fighters, Legions of Imperial Stormtrooper Marines, Heavy Shields. Weaponry enough to destroy a small moon. 10 Tractor Beams etc.

Vs

Boba Fett's Slave 1 which has battle damage, Legions of Fans, some shields, Some Lasers and ROckets, a simple tractor Beam etc.

Well weirder things can happen, an X-Wing destroyed the Death-Star Remember.

So what do you think?
Could Boba Fett Pull it off against all the odds?
Or is he Doomed to fail like Luke Skywalker Vs. Virginity?

but seriously, it would have to depend on whether, boba planned it or not. like if he cold ambush them from behind an asteroid or something, and like take out the tie hanger doors, radar system, and the communication array really quick he could just fly in, attack, fly out, repeat. until the ship gets destroyed.

If it was unplanned, then, sad to say, the destroyer would win.  As a greater man that we all know once said: "But the odds of surviving an attack on an imperial star destroyer are approximately 5,700 to one!"

Boba would most likely win, plan or no plan. He has a cloaking devise so he could sneek up on them, blow their engines, then make his attack run. He also has sismic charges

Well, maybe, he could pull the trick that Han Solo pulled, except he could leave a few detonators on the destroyer and blow it up.  A possibility.

the star destoroyer would probly win if they could see boba, but if he dose it like han then yes he could take out compltly or at lest criple it.

it depends if the star destroyer was surprised or not.

Yeah, if it was a head on attack, the destroyer would undoubtedly win.

My vote goes to the everpowerful Star Destroyer. I mean, Slave 1 is a powerful ship, but a STAR DESTROYER? Its so much more powerful.

True, but I would be very surprised if none of the thousands of troopers, admirals, and commanders didnt see the ship. Its very rare that you can sneak up on a star destroyer. I think that we all would want Boba to fly his ship swiftly around a star destroyer and blow it into a bizzilion pieces, but it aint gonna happen. Plus, Slave 1 matches the speed of a Y-wing, and despite its meraculous manoverablity, it wouldnt take long for Slave 1 to be caught.......................unless it sneaks behind the engines, the only place where a star destroyer doesn't locate any ships. :D That might work.

I wonder if the seismic charges could cut through a destroyers hull like those asteriods in AOTC...in which case, he could just sever the bridge from the rest of the ship.  :P

Unlike the Asteroids A Star Destroyer has very powerful shields....

Much more than Obi-Wan's crummy Starfighter...

I agree with Draco. Boba Fett is capable of outsmarting an imperial garrison. So destroying one star destroyer would be easy. If it was a planned assault it would be a simple matter of destroying the bridge. " If you cut the head off a snake, it can't bite." Slave 1 has more than enough firepower to take out the bridge. If two A-wings can destroy a super star destroyer in ROTJ then the Fett Man can lay waste to a class 1 destroyer without breaking a sweat.

Unfortunately I think Boba would be creamed eventually. I think he'd put up a good fight though.

yeah he might totaly waste the Destroyer but his ship would be severly damedged

IG-88 managed to severely damage his ship.....

Yes, Slave1 is awesome, but it aint the best. :/

I agree. Although we are all for Fett and everything, his ship isn't the best. Yet it is a great opponent since it has Fett controlling it, ya know.

I don't know.The Star Destroyer is a battleship.A capitol ship.It's only for combat....But I truly can't imagine Boba taking on a Destroyer...

Same here DMC, same here......Princess Leia's ship, a Corellian Corvette, was infiltated by a Star Destroyer, and Fett's ship is much smaller than a Corellian Corvette. With only a couple shots, Slave1 would be down and out. I still say that the Star Destroyer wins.

Yeah,just because Slave I is well armed,we should not forget that a Star Destroyer also has  turbolasers and tractor beam projectors dot its surface. Its ventral bay can launch TIE fighters, boarding craft, land assault units, hyperspace probes, or be used to hold captured craft. Its bustling bridge is staffed by the finest crewers in the Imperial starfleet.

The Star Destroyer is recognized as the signature vessel of the Imperial fleet. Its presence in a system marks matters of extreme Imperial import. Though, as is typical of the Empire, not even the Star Destroyer was enough to sate the Imperial hunger for displays of power. Larger vessels, such as the Super Star Destroyer, dwarf even these giants.

the second - 900 KM diameter...

Well,I conclude saying that  Boba may be the best bounty hunter in the universe,but we must also think reasonably.After all,Boba isn't so stupid to take on a Star Destroyer of his employees(spelling)!LOL! :D
