Topic: Gears of War 2

As many may know the new Gears 2 came out this week. I'm already very far in the campain and like it a lot so far. The new shooter post many new enemies, weapons, and vehicals. Things are britter and more colorful then the first gears making it a great expernce! I posted this topic so peaple can post their ideas about the game. Enjoy the game!

No not really--my parents are gay like that. I'm a bigger fan of FPS's anyways. Have you picked up the Gears Prequel novel by Karen Traviss?

So what do others like about Gears in general?

i just ordered the marcus fenix figure off of ebay

I got my figure in the mail today! :D

Overview-this is a marcus fenix figure i got off of ebay for around 12 bucks, hes about 7 inches tall and comes with 2 weapons.


Articulation- pretty good, the joints are stiff but its better than they being loose, most of the joints are swivel and not ball.


Paint job-amazing, theres even mud on his boots and legs


Sculpt-this is where this figure excels. this is the best sculpt i have ever seen on a figure, everything from the basic armor to the scars on his face are amazing

I am so happy with this figure, and the fact i got it for less than retail price is even better :D:D:D

Nice, I envy you. Just got the first game yesterday, and finished Act 1 on Hardcore. And one online match. Onlines not bad, but there are about as many on it as RC--so about 15 or twenty. I think. And they all have maps I don't.

yeah, i dont like gears multi player, its set up badly.

the campaign is amazing though, very fun

I don't know, chainsawing is awesome. Its...ok. Not amazing, but it has entertainment value.

When you say 'RC', do you mean PC or Xbox, because I can almost never find a match for RC on xbox.

Xbox. I've heard PC has more. When I tried online it had more, but still few.

Have Gears 2 and beat it. A lot of fun, but not too many people I know are still playing.

Two fun pieces of news--The second Gears novel is announced, titled Jacinto's Remnants. It looks to be a sequel to Gears 2, but thats not announced.



It is set to be released on July 28, the same day as the next Gears 2 add-on, Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection, which includes all DLC maps thusfar, 7 new maps, and a deleted chapter entitled "Road to Ruin". The chapter will allow players to choose to play stealthily or guns blazing. It will also include extras like a strategy guide, a poster, and a dashboard theme.

It will be disc based for $20 USD, or the new maps and campaign chapter as DLC for less.
