Any ideas on why Vader would ignore the order and have a rouge Imperial assassin droid lose on his flag ship able to possibly infect other droids on the ship and have them become self aware.

Because he wanted Solo at all costs...a few droids going crazy was probably worth it to Sidious.

You know most people think Fett didn't kill anyone in the movies but he actually killed 3: 2 wookies during i don't know when, and Ig-88 in ESB.

Getting back on topic.(no offense) But knowing Vader, it's a good bet he knew how good IG-88 was so he got one of the best to find Solo. Then once the droid brought the Rebels in Vader would dismantle the hunter and not have to pay for IG's services.

if there was a dismantle on sight on ig-88, then how could ig-88 manage to get the core he built onto the deathster 2?

IG-88 did kill in the book - The Tales of the Bounty Hunters. Those scientists. Then he ordered a service droid to kill his master, lol, it was with a blaster pistol

Im sure it was the furthest thing from Vaders mind, plus I think he knew that if IG-88 crossed Fett then he would be delt with. Haha. I think Vader knew Fett would clean up any messses.

No, the original one was on Mechis III. Fett did kill two of them (IG-88c and d I think) over Tatooine in the Slave 1.
