Speaking of which, found a map of the star wars galaxy that's missing Concord Dawn but has everything else. Using link because this is a big image. It has to be enlarged to fully see it, that little box that shows up in the corner when you out your cursor over it.

I have a map of the galaxy on my site, though it's not the best map ever. I forget the exact url, but I know it's in the SW section.

I suggest that you pick a planet that you know well...

For my part when I started writing my fan fic (that I dont have posted here - it's got nothing about Fetts, or just too little) I had been playing Star Wars Galaxies a lot, and I was very familiar with the geography and cities on Dantooine. So that's where I located my fic.

I thought that Concord Dawn and other Mandalorian planets were supposed to be very mysterious and impossible to find for anyone who doesn't live there.

One more thing on maps is that I finally clicked on the first map link (I'm slow, lol) and that's the map I have on my site, except I like the background on mine better, cause it's the original background the map came on.

As for the wiki link, I didn't click it cause I hate wikis cause they always lie.

Sorry, i've been dieing to type like that for ages, it is pretty fun to blame any division of government at any one time or NASA depending.
Anyway, I'm not a big fan of wikipedia when it comes down to Star Wars or trade franchises either. However, wookiepedia on occasion is worth a visit.

I didn't realise there were so many planets! I usually just make ones up for my stories or use the really familiar ones ;)

The planets will definitely be a big help in the fanfictions.  I generally just use the unofficial Star Wars encyclopedia, but it's not as detailed as I would like.

I'll probably try writing one where people happen upon "Coreless".....the "moving" mandalorian planet.......any of the mandalorian planets are cool ones to use

Finally I have a rebuttal, Dxun and Yavin aren't on there because they're moons. It's a planet map only, not even stars are displayed. They also lack Uba 3, this map pretty much features the original trilogy and parts of the new one. I might as well go after a new one a little more recent.

Damn, there are a WHOLE LOT OF PLANETS!! Imagine trying to pass a science test in that galaxy! :)

The point isn't how big....just to think of its size      i would have dropped out early, runnin form da po pos, and live in the lower parts of coruscant. it would hard on any kid to remember all of that junk.....back to subject though,,,,we are getting off.

You know, according to that Wiki list, there's a planet that shares my surname! :O Shocking!

But yeah. I usually stick to relatively known planets, mostly because I figure I might as well put my character on a more populated planet, right? My RPG character's an Elomin, but he's from Ord Mantell, mostly because I figured he probably wouldn't have become a bounty hunter if he had grown up around the culture in Elom.
