((Wait, are we using the HK unit or not? Just so I know how to set up my next post.))
"Did I ever tell you how much I like ants huh? Especially fried in a subtle blend of mech fluid and grated gears?"(yeah, lets use it....but if it calls me an "Organic Meatbag" or descibes me as "squishy" to much..bang....or zap..or be-dew....or whatever sound a DC makes...)
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed((All right then))
H'rri looked between the arguing humans and eyed the HK unit wearily. She didn't trust it, having a deeply ingrained belief about trusting anything more complicated that a slug thrower, but she really couldn't so anything about it at the moment.
She heard Var ask her a question and started to answer, but stopped. What were the chances he could understand her? She then has an idea. Crouching down slowly, so she wouldn't startled the humans, and wrote her name in the sand, alternating pointing to it and to herself, hoping they got the idea.
"That's my name Outsider," She told them. Maybe by some weird fluke someone would understand her.
((H'rri knows how to write her name in Basic. That's all she knows though. She can't speak it though. She can only understand it.))
Jason looks at what the Tusken wrote in the sand, probably their name, he guessed that because he would do the exact same gesture if the postitons were reversed. He points at himself and says "Jason" only as a formality, assuming that theres no chance that he was understood.
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followedVar also wrote his name, Quenten Var. "HK, ask the tusken that we dont want to hurt her," said Var. "Statement: yes, master," said the driod.
"Master? Is it your slave now?" Jason asked grinning, temporaily forgetting the situation they were in.
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followedJanson, (despite Jason trying to lift the mood) did not laugh. "why dont we kill the blasted thing?" he asked.
"Sir, Finishing this Cake.""Because it can speak tusken!"said Var.
"Why dont we kill Janson?" Jason said, in one of those quiet voices that was so quiet that only Var heard it.Var snickerd "What?" Janson asked "Er. Nothing." Jason said quickly
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed"I meant the Tuskan silly!" replied Janson.
"Sir, Finishing this Cake."H'rri, despite not being able to write more that her name is Basic, understood it quite well. She heard what the human said about her and turned to the HK unit, not trusting him at all but he seemed to understand her, so she had no choice.
"Tell the Outsiders that no harm will come to them from my hand." she said "But, you tell that one She pointed to Janson. "To not talk about me or my people like that in front of me or there just may be problems."
Jason listens to the translator do his job, then he speaks up. "We dont mean to hurt you, but I would watch out for him, I think he's a little bloodthirsty, why were you following us, we were attacked by other tuskens earlier."
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed"If you've see the things I've seen them do, you would not think so," Grumbled Janson.
"Sir, Finishing this Cake.""You havent seen sh*t compared to what ive been through." Jason said, angrily (see inspace no one can hear you scream. some one should revive that topic....)
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed"Miss would you like to come with us? We need a guide" said Var. The driod piped up the tuskins asewer ,"No."
"Damn,we need a guide," said Var "Question: Master Am I going with you?" asked the droid. "Yes," said Var.
What? We need a Tuskan guide, to kill more Tuskans? Asked Janson questioningly.
"Sir, Finishing this Cake.""Who said we were going to kill them?" Jason asked.
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed"Then what are we doing here?!? Exploring?!?" Replied Janson, his temper rising.
"Sir, Finishing this Cake.""I dont know but you need to understand that if you kill this one, there will be a retailiation." Jason said, seemingly calm.
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed"Whoa, wait a minute, wait a minute. You mean you came all the way out to the Dune Sea for..... Nothing?" Asked Janson incredulously
"Sir, Finishing this Cake.""No, i went out for a drive, and to patrol the area.Found you and your freind. Took you to the med center. Decided to go with you guys. Ended up here."
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed"Well, the reason I'M here is to kill tuskans" Said Janson
"Sir, Finishing this Cake.""You kill anything that dosnt attack us first, and I'll kill you." Jason said, as he picked up his gun "Droid, Tell the tusken to watch out for this guy." He pointed at Janson
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed"Delay that order droid!" yelled Janson "What is with you and Tuskans?" Janson asked Jason.
"Sir, Finishing this Cake."(you mean Belay??????hmmmm?)
"Ignore him droid, and tell the tusken to watch out for him."
"Dont listen to him Droid!" Yelled Janson.
"Sir, Finishing this Cake.""ok, droid. ignore both of us." He passed the droid, speaking quietly so no one heard, but the droid."Tell the tusken to watch him."
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed"Shut up both of you!" yelled Var," the droid meeds to be dug up, HK, ask the tusken to help us." "Statement:Yes sir,"said the driod. "Go get the spade from the speeder, Janson,"said Var.(i mean adeptus)
H'rri raised an eyebrow under her wrappings. These Outsiders were amusing.
"I heard them Droid," H'rri told HK taking her Gaffi and, using the spear end of it, started to help them dig. She did keep an eye on them though, especially Janson. She trusted them about as much as she trusted that droid.
"I thinke we should disarm the droid" Jason said,
"What? No!" Var said iritabley
"We dont know how long its been here, or why. It could be messed up, faulty circutry. We just take the gun away, so it cant shoot us if it goes haywire."
Var saw the tusken dig. "Look she is helping us," said Var.
Jason keeps digging "Almost done here." he says
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed"Hey, look its raelly is in working order!" said Var
"I dont care!" yelled Janson, Glaring at the Tuskan menacingly, his hand griping his blaster.
"Sir, Finishing this Cake."H'rri's head spun towards Var.
"How did you know I was a Female?" She asked without thinking. MAybe he saw something that he wasn't supposed to see. In that case, she would have no choice but to kill him in a traditional Blood Dual.
"I would watch where my hands goes Human," She growled at Janson. "I am helping you, not hurting you. If I wanted to hurt you, I would have done so by now," She said, shaking her Gaffi to drive her point home. "Translate that, Droid."
(if your wondering why Janson acts that way read my character sheet)
Janson eyes narrowed to slits, but said nothing.
((I know why he does. H'rri just doesn't know.))
"That's what I thought," She said, nodding and turning back to helping the others. "Don't translate that!" She added quickly, before the HK unit had a chance to say anything.
Jason wasn't going to let this go on. He turned quickly, and punched Janson in the jaw, knocking him out. "Var, go to my speeder. Theres a compartment next to the seat. Open it, and bring me the silver utility tape. When he wakes up, I dont want him trying to start anything else."
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followedH'rri smiled behind her wrappings. Serves that human right for running his mouth.
"Did I ever tell you how much I like ants huh? Especially fried in a subtle blend of mech fluid and grated gears?"Jason dumped Janson's unconsious body in the back of his speeder, checking to make sure he wasnt comfortable. He started to pull the droid out. "Ok, I'm going to need you to deactivate all weapons systems, or let me open up the acess hatch so i can do it manualy."
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followedHoistiong her Gaffi one one shoudler, H'rri stood on guard, scanning the horizion and dunes for rival tribes or any other threat that could come their way.
"Did I ever tell you how much I like ants huh? Especially fried in a subtle blend of mech fluid and grated gears?""Excuse me, I need that droid, and and alone time," Var said Janson left. "The reason why I could tell you were Not male is because the way you acted, you did not attack right off, and my Grandfather studied Tuskins,"Vrook said.
"H'rri looked at Var. "That does not matter. My people do not make distinctions between genders. Males and Females are both expected to live up to the best of their abilities." She explained. "Only out mates are allowed to see our true faces."
"The only reason why I did not attack you was because I am more curious about your people than the rest of my race is."
"Yeah, I know,"said Var. "But why are you so curious?"
"I guess I see something in your people that no one else sees," H'rri said, "What exactly I see, I do not know." She shrugged, not having a better answer than that.
"Did I ever tell you how much I like ants huh? Especially fried in a subtle blend of mech fluid and grated gears?"Jason walked back. "So, we got the droid, Jansons not an issue any more, so what now?"
The man in black fled across the desert, and the gunslinger followed"We need directions,"said Var
"To where? I may be able to help. I know the sands well," H'rri said, turning towards the group.
"Did I ever tell you how much I like ants huh? Especially fried in a subtle blend of mech fluid and grated gears?""To a tribe your rival tribe," said Var.
"Which one? The one by Anchorhead, the Needles, or the Dune Sea?" She asked, pointing in the direction of each location.
