This won't answer your question, but it'll clear up the he/she issue.
IG-88 is a he.

it would seem like a he, but hey its a droid they dont really have specific genders.
Droids are programmed with genders.

Assuming Bossk ever even made it to Bespin.If he did, the planet was probably crawling with Imps by the time he got there. Come to think of it, the Imperials probably had IG-88's ship in a hangar somewhere collecting dust.
