Topic: Droids Fett figure

Found this online today.  First picture I've actually seen of the promo figure.  It's from the New York City Toy Fair 2007.  Pretty nice looking, I think.  Too bad it looks like a repaint, though, and not an original figure.

The Holiday Special version of Boba Fett is finally on it's way out with the Wave 4 of figures, coming out pretty soon.  I guess they also finally made a McQuarrie concept Vader figure going out in the same wave, as well.  Pretty neat stuff happening this month.  First Aqua Teen Hunger Force the movie, and now this.  Pretty Sweet!!

Yea that is the Holiday Special, I've never seen Droids so the best I can tell from it is because of the giant fork he's supposed to be carrying. Not stopping me from hunting for it.
(This is one of the few reasons why working Walmart/Kmart/Target can be a good thing. I don't so it's just going to be hell looking for it.

does anybody know what exactly the origin of the forked staff that "holiday special" bobas uses.
is there a name for it in the sw universe?

if i were to take a guess it would be a Geonosian Electro-Staff or The Staff of Logray and i think Lograys is very close looking but obviously it isn't lograys but maybe the same type? The geonosian staff is very close and maybe thats why lucas chose that for one of thier weapons...as like a homage to his masacre.

hey has anyone got any mcquarrie 30th anniversary action figures? i have , ive got the mcquarrie boba fett figure complete with two helmets, a blaster rifle, a flamethrower burst and a backpack of rockets
