Topic: hey, who plays kotor?

just curious if anyone else plays.

Just started playing Kotor and I've played Kotor 2 all the way through on Jedi.

I've played kotor 2, and I'm gonna get Kotor 1 eventually.

The thing about Kotor 2 that I didn't like was that you pretty much had to go one sided, you couldn't use a mixture of both dark and light, you were either full evil, or full good.

I think they should make a game where you do what you think is right in every scenario, instead of doing something you don't necisarilly agree with just because you wanna be dark, or light.

There are plenty of games like that. They are called "playground games," or "sandbox games."

I played both KOTORs, and I love them! I played KOTOR1 twice, both times as female-lightside. Twice cause the first time I messed up the romance with Carth so I restarted. Only played #2 once though, female-lightside. I want to play them both again sometime, as darkside.

i aint downloaded the save butive played both games twice each game once male light and female dark. they rock im waiting for 3 and it may come true!

I haven't but my friend has.  He's played both games as a light and dark side male.  The reason I know this is because I'm usually spectating.  I really enjoyed watching the game.

yes, both games are very cinematic

I've played the first one, it's good, but a little over-rated in my opinion. Some of the Dark Side options are super fun though :)

And what exactly is this special save for all us Xbox users?

I've played the first one a few times all the way through. Haven't finish KOTOR 2, got bored with Nar Shaddar (spelling?)

Kotor 1 had a storyline that was amazing. Kotor 2's storyline was a let down, but I think the gameplay was more exciting. Plus I like creating and breaking down items at the workbenches and lab stations.

Oh and for those who are wondering, Kotor 3 is scheduled to be released on xbox 360 (and I'm guessing PC) sometime in 2008. So don't get your hopes up for this year =/.

Nar Shaddaa I believe.
It's one of my favorite levels in the game, Korriban taking second place.
I really hated Telos, especially after restarting to play Sith.

TELOS TAKES FOREVER!!!! Really nothing fun there too, don't know why they made it so long.

You know what Kotor 2 was really missing? The Genoharadan missions. I know you kinda destroy it it Kotor, but they could have come up with some excuse to bring them back.

Didn't like Nar Shaddaa.  I didn't much like the Jedi Master on that level.  I was elated when I got to kill him.

you use a gameshark to download exclusive(free) data to your xbox that includes darth nihilus darth revan etc. robes, special armor, tons of special items and other unigue things.

Oh cool.  Sometimes I wish i could have the PC version for the sake of the patches.

I've past both games as a LS Male and Female and a DS Male and Female.

The ending of the second one could be better though, other than that both games are great.

The end of the second one was kind of annoying.  They left quite a few things open.  Like hey, who survived?

they should make the kotor games into movies.

How do you get the patches?  I was so jealous of my friends when they showed me all these new features (they have Xbox live)

well, there are two ways i know, first get a game shark and go online and find the exclusive content and plug it into your xbox. Second, im positve you could buy a memory card and get the data off your friends xbox.

I don't have either an Xbox/PC OR any way of getting patches!  Now imagine how envious I was when my friend showed me the game.  Answer being: greener than a stalk of broccoli!

I REALLY want to see what they do with KOTOR III.  I hope they don't mess it up.

to answer the question, I play Kotor & Kotor 2. both really fun and addictive games.

Anyways, my second-cousin gave me his copy f one of the games, but my computer is too old to play it.

That would seriously stink.  I only have a Mac, so I can't play ANY of the great KOTOR games.  Talk about frustrating!
