Topic: New RC Book Title Revealed!

I got on Karen Traviss' site the other day and saw that the next Republic Commando book is gonna be titled True Colors! I wonder if this is a reference to Order 66...?

Well, it sounds rather corny to be honest... but OMG!! This July? ^___^ I can't wait!

I think that I just about fainted when I saw the announcement (not really, but I'm a melodramatic type of person, sooo... :D)!! I know that the time will just fly by, but WOWZERS! We have to wait approximately*gets calculator* ...... *puts calculator down* A long, long time.


I can't wait to see what the cover is gonna be! I wonder if there'll be any mention of the Deltas, and of Sev's fate?

Flipping sweet i like the name it sounds like it is gonna be a emotionally tough book for the characters

I wold love to know what happened to Sev, but im more concerned with Omega Squad. I hope to see more Etain and Darman in the future! :)

All I want is to FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED TO SEV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is the coolest commando anyway. That's the reason why I have his avatar!

Well, I agree more with Mando Stargazer on the Omega thing. Personally, I would like to see more of Atin... *is as subtle as a bantha*

Aw, yeah... Atin sorta had something with that Twi'lek waitress, right? ^_^ I'm fine with Darman and Etain... I mean, they sincerely love each other! I think they're so cute! :D But I think Karen Travis went a little too crazy with the relationships at the end of Triple Zero. Let's see, by the end of Triple Zero, there is: Darman/Etain, Atin/Twi'lek &, Ordo/Bessany Wennan (sp?)... I think that's two too many clone trooper relationships going on. Not that I'm saying they don't deserve anyone, but it's just not in there nature, is it? I'm not saying they're not human... but, I dunno, I think it's too much at once... meh.

I agree with you about ALL the PAIRINGS! I was like, "okayyyy...."    I prefer the camaraderie between the clones to the new romantic relationships. I mean, I'm happy for 'em and all, but I just don't like romance!

I just remembered reading in, Spector of the Past that force users can manipulate the rate at which they age, so if Darman and Etain are together and she is able to manipulate his ageing to where it almost stops then he could be the clone that Fett is after in Bloodlines. So in theory if Darman does not follow order 66 and stays with Etain and she is dormant with her use of the Force like Obi-Wan she could go undetected by the empire and live out a natural life.

It's possible Darman's aging could be reversed like that, but given that Skirata and the Nulls were hunting Ko Sai and she was sent back to Kamino in pieces just screams Kal Skirata.  That, combined with the fact that at the end of Triple Zero everyone went their own way kind of reduces the chances that Darman was with Etain at the time Order 66 was issued, since most commando units operated without Jedi.  While I'm certain Etain or Bardan Jusik would not have been executed by Omega or Delta Squads, other clone units might not be so attatched.

Oh, is someone a bit jealous? ;) Just teasing... :P Poor man deserves some affection more than any of the other commandos. His been through alot with Walon Vau and everything. Even if his relationship is with a dancing ninny of a Twi'lek, hahah. Hm... but maybe we're just assuming too much by saying they're in a relationship?? Afterall, all it said in the book was that they were holding hands... right? Maybe it was just sort of friendly?
Hm, I think I'm going to re-read Hard Contact and Triple Zero by the time True Colors is released!
BTW, I think the True Colors plot will be before Order 66, won't it?

I don't know about the time frame of True Colors. I'm bad at guessing--REALLY bad. So I've given up on guessing at ANYTHING! :P

I'm a big fan of Omega Squad...  I tend to fret over them...   Those poor boys.  I wanna send them care packages, maybe give them a hot meal...  Gotta support the troops ya know...  :P

(BTW:  Everyone ought to look into the various adopt-a-soldier programs available.  Its a good way to support troops over seas...regardless of whether you believe in the political reasons behind it all or not.  :)  )

I fret over Omega. I love them to death! Care packages for clones would be awesome... (BTW, I help with my school's patriot club and we send care packages to soldier almost every month. :))

Why are you posting about 20 posts in a row for no reason atall. We have repatedly told you not to spam but you continue i get the feeling you may be  playing the idiot on purpose. Can anyone be sure he isnt Zero Fett? Dracos spent ages telling you not to spam and you dont seem to take it in.

That does not have anything to do with this topic. It is spam. To answer your question, Boba is a clone of Jango, and therefor has not had a mother.

I've also wondered if Kad'ika is Darman's and Etain's child...  Who knows...  Darman is among my "fav clones" so of course I'll be highly interested to see how his child turns out.  Poor kid...
