Sorted by oldest to newestIsn't that part of Star Wars Galaxies? Because if so, that might explain why it doesn't work. (disclaimer: I have no idea what I'm talking about)

"This is where my theme song would kick in, if I had a theme song. And not that Flash Gordon movie thing, either." —The FlashI thought Empire at War was like a (kindasorta) sequel to Galactic Battlegrounds.

It's LucasArts trying to make the perfect Star Wars RTS.
That isn't going to happen until I do it for them...
Sorry, I don't plan on buying it, but what exactly is the problem?
You have the first installation CD, correct? When it installs it should prompt you for all the CDs it needs. What is it doing when you try to the start the game?

"This is where my theme song would kick in, if I had a theme song. And not that Flash Gordon movie thing, either." —The FlashEmpire at War is a separate game, but I would recommend using the support forum at LucasArts.com. Good luck, and let us know how it goes with Boba Fett and Slave I.

"This is where my theme song would kick in, if I had a theme song. And not that Flash Gordon movie thing, either." —The FlashWhat kind of drive do you have?
If there was only one disk, I would guess it is probably a DVD, which you would need a DVD-ROM to see and install.

Have you tried taking the casing off your harddrive and unplugging your cddrive and plugging it back in? Mine's weird where I have to do that sometimes to get it to open.

What if he doesn't survive? He's worth alot to meWell first I would like to say, that star wars Empire at war is a great game and I highly recommend it to anyone out there who enjoys a good Grand Stradegy RTS. Now to answer your problem first you should have two disks. if you dont then they jipped you. If its not showing up go to my computer and double click on you D: Drive, if that dosent work then you really need to check your CD-ROM, It may have broke because that is jsut weird, or its switched on either Slave 1 or Slave 2 (Heh conveinent). If that doesnt work then mail me at Lupinenaj@gmail.com
I want to get that, it looks really REALLY cool!
"He's no good to me dead."- Boba FettMeh...they screwed up the galactic map to make it...rounder.
Whole buncha planets nowhere near where they're supposed to be.

Really? Like what?
"He's no good to me dead."- Boba Fetti have empire at war, it is great
there is a mod i downloaded for it to change everything to kotor. there are 2 faction, republuc and sith and you get their soldiers, vehicles and heroes
i hope they do republic at war in the clone wars
Mods for Emire at War to??? I must look.........
I love EaW, especially the space battles and all the neat vehicals that are in it that I never would have heard of otherwise. I REALLY love the add-on for Empire at War, Forces of Corruption. The Mandalorian based stuff for the new faction and the addition of Mandalore and the other planets really help the game, not to mention the 'updating' of everybody else's forces; like the Imps get upgraded to TIE Interceptors and the Death Star 2, while the Rebels get the B-Wing over the Y-wing now, and so on. Schweet stuff
However, I don't really like the ground combat that much. I had the old game SW: Force Commander which was focused on ground combat, and found the new game lacking and arcade'ish compared to it's space combat. The Canderous battle-tanks for the new faction really help though :D
And yes, the map really is flawd
Still a great game though........i should play it more

it's a good game; but it's the space combat that really sets it appart for me. The rest is fun too, but not as breath taking I don't think, and not as realistic
