Topic: the greatest superhero of all time?

Speaking of X-Men, my vote would have to go for Wolverine. I really like him, I dont know why...

Prancer, I'm with you.  Batman has always been my favorite. In fact, the old man and I were just talking about him in the car tonight. I think I have a thing for the mask/cape look. Maybe it carried over to Fett. ;)

Again, bringing up an old topic, how many of you know that Canada has its own superhero?  Pretty funny.  His name is Captain Canuck and he is some lame spin-off of Captain America.  As for my favourite I'm going to have to say Superman.

He's not really a superhero, but I kind of like the Punisher.

I'd have to say Ghost Rider.  No reason othe than he is a bad MF.

I'm pretty sure Yoda is not a super hero. He is a jedi. There is a difference

for one of the coolest superheroes ever... WOLVERINE!!
He was the first comic book antihero, and he goes intorages and has claws and is 120 years old but looks 35!
and i'd just like to point out that some of the heroes you're voting for aren't super heroes.

Wolverine, Spiderman, Batman, Flash, and Iron Man are all really cool.  Such variety!

Wolverine is pretty awesome, the whole adimantium thing would be pretty cool.

Yeah, but it would hurt having blades tear through your skin every time you want to fight.

Thus comes in handy the regenerating ability.

The regeneration doesn't stop it from hurting, it just repairs the cell damage quicker.

Anybody know who Toxin is?  He's the newest superhero in town, the symbiotic spawn of Carnage(whom i think is the greatest super villian), but unlike Carnage, he models himself after Spidey to use his powers for good, and he is more powerful than Venom or Carnage.  He's awsome.

Quite agreeable. My favorite X-Man, however, is Magneto. Wolverine is 2nd. Nightcrawler 3rd, um... Gambit 4th, and Apokolips 5th.

I'm also digging a guy named Speedball as of late. Oh, Ghost Rider too. And the new Ant-Man. His comic is "The Irredeemable Ant-Man. It's awesome.

Speedball and Ant-Man? To each his own.

Magneto is not an X-Man except for the time that he joined, just to see what it is like.  And the time when he had to temporarily lead them.  On a whole however, he is their nemesis.  so is Apocalypse for that matter.  They are anemies of the X-men, but not actual rostered X-men.

not corny at all. Superman actually is symbolic of the United States, as he was created during World War II, along with Batman, Captain America, and a ton of other dudes that pwn.

Superman was actually co-created by Canadian.  Imagine that...
And it's amazing how much symbolism is going on in Superman.

Call me crazy, but I have recently discovered an anti-hero that I have never heard of before.  What are your guys' opinions on Deadpool?  Personally, I think he's awesome, but that is just me.

He is the best red-&-black-tights-wearing mercenary ever.

And completely insane, but I guess that is what makes him unique.  And the fact that he is the only comic book character who KNOWS that he's a comic book character (breaking down the fourth wall) is just plain wacky.

Deadpool is probably my favorite non-Alice Cooper comic character, and one of the only characters that I think could defeat Fett. Also, there are other comic characters that know that they are in a comic.

He's the only one I know of.  That is what I meant, sorry.  And, apparently, he also beat Wolverine in a fight, and Wolverine is an amazing fighter.  I just think the madman is a cool character all around.....maybe because his mind echoes my own?

I think so, but I could be wrong.

In the Marvel U he is still classified as a hero, considering he runs S.H.I.E.L.D., & is a member of the Avengers. To fans howver, his behavior during Civil War was quite villianous.

I got one really funny Deadpool pictures.  Deadpool and Punisher with guns drawn at each other's heads.  What's everyones favourite version of Wolverine.  Do we like his blue and yellow masked costume, or the tee and jeans wolverine?  I personally prefer the blue and yellow one.

I prefer his tan costume, honestly.

He's cool, and probably my favourite DC character.  Along with the Wolverine thing, I like his yellow and blue one, especially the updated one.  Although the tan and brown costume is also pretty cool.  What can I say, Wolverine's cool (and lethal) in any costume.
