Topic: Toe Prongs

All I'm saying is that if you had an inch long spike smash into the side of your head you would have a lot more problems than if it was just someones shoe. ;)

Hey guys,this is a joint message from me and Infamous(because he's too lazy to get off his can and register properly,or even type these days).Fett actually has extendable boot spikes,if he stomps his foot the spikes extend(there are movies with a knife in the shoe done the same way...one of which is Dust 'til Dawn 3,hangman's Daughter which oddly stars T.Morrison).

They are not poisoned,you might be thinking of his knee darts which are loaded with different toxins.I think the spikes are a last ditch surprise if Boba Fett is in a serious physical fight,and can be used for climbing assistance(much like Jango's wrist blade).

I don't think it gets too much action,but I'm sure Fett knows how to put them to good use when they do.Anyone who has played Soul Calibur 3 and used the grieves(boot knives),knows what a good kick to the head will do.Or the back of the knees,or the midsection,or a vital tendon.....

You get the drift,I'm sure.Now what if it was jetpack assisted?

Are you sure they're one-inch? They seem a lot smaller.

Anywho, that really changes things bettie. It's absolutely no contest if the length extends. May I ask the source of that information?

They do in the star wars visual dictionary it says spring loaded toe spikes so basicly they kinda err spring out lol.

I think I have thumbed through that dictionary at Barnes and Noble before, along with just about every other book in the Star Wars section.  Yeah...I need to win the lottery. :P  I really like looking at character poses.  I'm working on faces now, but I need to move to drawing bodies.  I love seeing the up close and detailed pics of what we see in the movies, especially those that only have a few seconds of air time.

On the subject of toe prongs, does anyone have Fett costume boots with the toe prongs on them?  If so, what did you use?

Boba Fett is nothing but the best in his field of work, he works precisely, and deadly with the whatever he may have at the time. Every true Boba Fett fan knows that he (Boba Fett) is deadly with anything he is given. Now don't get me wrong he is not a killind, blood-thirsty machine, but rather the most professional killer in the galaxy. I have no doubts he could take down any bounty if he viewed the merchandise to be worth his time, he wouldnt stop if his toe prongs were all he had, that I can guarantee. Now as to how he could pull of such a feat is beyond me, for I am far from the experienced, notorious bounty hunter as the esteemed Fett.

I always assumed Fett's toe prongs weren't poisoned. That was left to the darts in his knee guards.

You realise he could stab you on the inside of your thigh with those things - extremely painful. Then he could finish you off with a kick to the temple (as previously stated)

the dart launchers on the knees and gauntlet fired poisoned darts.  the toe spikes?  well, i think mc chris said it best, "you still don't get the gist? my boots are made to kick, targets are made to hit..."

You know, there really isn't a DISadvantage to having toe prongs is there?

the biggest disadvantage is that they make walking diffucult.  you've got to learn to step carefully or you'll catch them on everything, and don't try walking in grass, you'll end up on your butt.

.....so true. I believe something kind of like that happened to me once.

I suppose....that is if you drag your feet. I think most bounty hunters try to steer away from that habit.
