Released in Spring 1980, with some sources saying it was on May 20th.
This edition contains Star Wars #39-44 and is a reprint of the first comic appearance of Boba Fett. This version is considered a magazine-sized comic, which is larger than normal.
The same content was also released in 1) Marvel Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back Special Edition 2, and 2) Star Wars #42.
