Topic: Your Lightsaber Hand?

Right, so if you were to wield a lightsaber, which hand would you hold it in? AKA, would you be a lefty or righty? Right now, since my arm is still in teh healing process, I'm a lefty (I can actually swordfight well, cuz I've done some  un-formal training over the years), so I do perty well with both hands.

Probably the right since I'm right handed, although I guess it depends if you fight with one or two sabers... :D

Well...now that were geting like this, double bladed, but primarily right.

i could swap, so it there's no dominant hand for me. ever notice that obi-wan and anakin tended to switch hands during their duel in episode 3? like when they jump off the huge thingamabob that goes down the lavafall and land on the platform, obi-wan activates his lightsaber in his left hand. and when anakin runs up the thing, his lightsaber is in his left hand as well. yet they fight as righty.

Always been a two saber man (unlike some, A_A  *copycat*  :) ) 

Then the only trick would be to learn how to use them without cutting myself to pieces. . .

Primarily right, though I prefer to use both my hands when saber fighting. .....but I much prefer double bladed.

wouldnt double bladed lightsaber handling be hard ..... i simply couldnt do it. ;)

Double sabers take practice, but eventually one would get used to using them. While they have more deadly striking power, they are less pricise than the single bladed varitey. Double blades also have a tendency to have more agression in their fighting style which is why they were not particularlly favored within the Jedi Order, especially by the time of the Clone Wars.

I am very much a right handed individual. The only thing that my left hand is good for is centering clay on a potters wheel, so I would weild a green bladed lighsaber in my right hand.

Well, as a kid I had a bit of training with a bo, which I know is a bit different than a double bladed saber, but it's the same basic concept I think.

btw, the saber would be blue. Always blue for me.

I'm jealous. Where'd you get training like that?

I am  ambidextrous in some things.  But mostly right.  BUt with sword fighting I'm right handed.

Notification: It is not that easy to fight with a double-bladed sword.
We can't use the Force like Darth Maul does. His butterfly attacks are more like show acrobatics than fighting.
Can't say they're effective..?

As an épée fencer I fight with a single sword.
And yes, I am right-handed

I cant think how someone could actually handle a double bladed lightsaber. I would have a single lightsaber.

Yeah, doesn't mean its not vaild.  A non force user would indeed have difficulty with the double blade.

My cousins fence....Anyways, I would try with a double bladed one but probably just get a staffhilted one :D

I would use the 2 sabers (as posted above  :P ), but if I used one for whatever reason, I would use both hands in a right handed stance  (love Revan's stance in KOTOR; when the Jedi have him surounded on the bridge of his ship)

Since i would like to use a blaster (because i dont mean to brag but, im a pretty sharp shot.) I would wield a single saber in my right left hand so i could shoot in my right.  Im not a lefty but i would just prefer a blaster

Since I'm cross dominant, (it's where you do certain actions with certain hands, like using a fork with the left but being dominant with the right.) I'd actually have to use the left hand even though I'm right handed, because I'm left eye dominant and left leg dominant.

OH that's what you call it!  Yes I guess I am cross-dominant.  My left leg is dominant as opposed to my right-handedness.  But I cannot for the life of me throw a frisbee with my right hand.

Anybody know what lightsaber form Revan was using in that dream/clip where he's about to take on Bastila and the Jedi strike team on his flagship?

Love that stance; that would be mine when not using two seperat sabers

Nope, can't find anything about Revan's style except for possibly Jar-Kai.

Right everything.... so I guess I would use right more. But I'm still alright with my left hand... so I'd try to use both with my double bladed yellow saber.
