Topic: Boba Fett vs. Deadpool

I found this pic with that little gadget that fishes out images posted to LiveJournal. I've got absolutely no idea who drew it, and no idea if there is any real meaning behind it except for "Hey, wouldn't it be pwnage to draw..."

But anyway - badly scarred bounty hunter who never shows his face vs badly scarred mercenary who shows his face more often than he probably should.

Personally, I've got no clear opinion on this one. I adore Deadpool almost as much as I adore Boba, and they seem fairly evenly matched on all aspects. Except for telling bad jokes and realising they're fictional, that is... Deadpool's got the upper hand there.

Another Deadpool fanatic, great. If that sounded sarcastic, I did not mean it to. In that comic (which was in a Wizard of the Coast magazine) Fett won.

A am glad Boba won in that comic. I dont even know who Deadpool is.

You could read the posts above. Deadpool has nearly perfect aim, probably equal to Fett's. Calling him a swords master would be a grave understatment. He is also a nearly unequeled mercenary, assassin, mmartial artist, and all around fighter. His healing factor puts Wolverine's to shame. Deadpool caould easily regenerate his heart, and preety much anything else. Gambit once payed him not to fight him (Gambit), because he new fighting Deadpool is suicide. He also knows that he is in a comic.

Be careful though, because a lot of Trevor's art is very dark and definately not for under 18's.

The flame thrower would not slow Deadpool down at all. The rocket however, might be a problem. The only waly that Fett could get rid of him for good would be to completely obliterate the merc with a mouth. That is a very hard task.

well now. it seems deadpool is a worthy opponent. i'd still vote for fett though because i know what he can do, and hes been through so much, i dont think hes going to let some mercenary finish him. although it could almost be a tie....

I'm not sure about this, but i believe deadpool may not be able to egen his own head. My friend told me that, he reads his comics, but then again im guessing this isnt a very common occurence. So with the factors of Deadpool being my second favorite superhero of all time, and Fett being the most awesome bounty hunter in SW history... I'd say

Gunfight goes to boba
Melee goes to deadpool
If either was being hunted by the other, I give it to Boba because he would get the drop due to his sensors.

also, if there was a contest on who looked cooler, boba would easily beat deadpool. after all, deadpool looks like an angry power ranger.

The obvious answer to the problem of making gross understatements is simple. Don't say anything if you have no idea what you are talking about, it just makes you look stupid. I'm not trying to be mean, just trying to save anyone from either starting a flame war or making one infinitely worse.

How can you be so sure if you have no idea who Deadpool is? Its like saying, "I'm sure I could outrun the flash... if I knew who he was."

Deadpool often wears a reversed costume. 'Pool has been dead twice. If it was just one battle, Fett would surley win. If it was/ were (a) battle(s) to the death, It would be almost impossible for Fett to win. Deadpool could, and has, get his internal organs torn out, and he would still be far from death.

Well I do know about Deadpool, eveidently not as much as Draco Fett, but I have read a few of his comics...

it doesnt matter if you sound mean. and im sure boba would win because i know who HE is. And after surviving everything he has hes not gonna let some comic book mercenary stop him. After all, hes boba fett. if the sarlacc didnt kill him, then some mercenary isnt going to either.

Boba is a comic book mercenary. I do not see how the Sarlacc could possibly kill 'Pool. Fett is not God. Deadpool is practicly immortal If Featt used blasters, flame-throwers, wrist blades, toe-spikes, light-sabres, and nearly any thing else, he would not even slow Deadpool down.

That means nothing. I am sure you do not know who Yog-Sothoth is, and Boba, nor Deadpool, could possibly even hit "him." If you cut off all of 'Pool's limbs, you would be dead in about two seconds. There is simply no way that Fett could win.

Uh 1 he did win in the comic 2 how would you be dead in 2 seconds after cutting his limbs off. Plus if he can do this stuff then they have created an overly powerful charecter who is almost invincible and if so i just think its stupid.

exactly. this deadpool freak is too much fantasy. even if he does have all this regeenerating crap, he can still be killed, or at least defeated temporarily. and i completely agree with ig-88. too bad there isnt a simulator or something so that you could see boba defeat this regenerating power ranger.

The real problem is that some of you are going on the "Boba would win, just because he is boba" train of thought, which is just annoying and doesn't belong here. I'm not saying either would win, because I really can't think how 1 could outdo the other.

The other problem is the ever ongoing problem of comic book clashes of power. In one comic superman stuggles to catch a falling SUV before it crushes a woman. In another he is pushing the Earth out of the way of a comet. There is no way to truly understand Deadpools powers, and therefore u just think of it as regeneration, complete and utter mastery of swords, and a great marksman.

Deadpool is not a god, he can be defeated in some circumstances. On the flip side, he is very powerful.
Boba Fett is not a god, he is human(ish) underneath the helmet. He also can be defeated.

1. If you read an earlier post of mine, you would realize that I am talking about a battle (or battles) to the death. Besides, the comic was obviously non-canon.

As Fetterthanthou pointed out, there are was of killing Deadpool. Fett does not happen to have any of those. Deadpool's comics are not about  staying alive, they are about completing the mission.

You cannot say there is no way Pool could win because Fett is not invincible. Yog-Sothoth is not from comics. It is a nearly omnipotent, omniscient entity from the work of H.P. Lovecraft (though thee are comic adaptions of Lovecraft's and Poe's work published by Marvel. I am trying to get those, as they are my two favorite authers). I do not see why you think Fett would win, you do not even have enough respect to capatalize his name.

I know Boba isnt invulnerable but i know Boba cant regenerate,and if he is dead he is dead but being cut to pieces and then being back in a second and then defeatingyou in another second is stupid that would make combating him pointless as it seems he is undefeatable i do not think of Boba as invulnerable i admited that Bane would probably beat Boba in another topic and i odnt even like Bane that much.

If you chopped Deadpool up in to a hundred pieces, of couse he would die. I never said that 'Pool could kill Fett in a second. I was implying that he could kill a normal human in about a second. Fett could easily do the same. I am not saying that the merc with a mouth is God. Off of the top of my head, I can recall two times when 'Pool has been beaten. Once by Taskmaster (who he later beat to a palp), and some martial artist. The man's name fails me. How many times has Fett been beaten? Roughly, zero. The children's book do not count in my opinion, as Fett was simply a child.

There's nothing wrong with not knowing who so-and-so is, but you could at least research him or read other's comments before making a decision based on worldwide fame.

There are rumors of a Deadpool movie. From my understanding, they have been both denied and confirmed, in that order.

I doubt that it will. In order to show the true Deadpool, he will have to be stabbed, and kill people, soit likely will not be too "kid-ish," if that is what you mean.

Follow my instructions in my above post. Ten posts above this post, there is a post with three links providing information on Deadpool. There was absolutely no reason for you to post your opinion in this thread if you do not know who Deadpool is. What makes you think that Fett is a god? He beat Vader. He killed the Sarlacc. 'Pool could do the same. Please do not post in this topic again untill you check out those links, otherwise there is no point for your post. I apologize if that sounded rude.
