I know this is for the Darth Vader Flash drives, but I received a promo sheet with a Boba Fett flash drive for sale on the Japanese Star Wars Fan Club site last year. However, when I went there, their site was pretty much shut down and they weren't selling anything anymore. I've been keeping an eye out, to no avail, so I figured they never got made, since the Japanese Fan club was pretty much shut down. Once I saw this, though, I'm guessing at least one of the "other" character flash drives will be Boba Fett, since Darth Vader was also on the original Japanese promo sheet, and looked just like the one for sale now on the American site. So, cross your fingers and keep your eyes peeled.

Geez, Darthy Babe looks good. Let's hope they do make a Boba! :D

That is very funny! I am intrested in seeing the Boba version.

Well, I was looking through my Star Wars Insider today, and it looks like they're finally coming out with a Boba Fett USB flash drive. I haven't found a picture of it online, and even though it says they're on the Star Wars Shop website, I have yet to see it listed on there yet. So, until then, this picture of the actual page will have to do. Sorry it's kind of a bad pic. My old scanner doesn't work with Windows XP (even with updated drivers), so I'm finally going to have to break down and get a new one this year. Anyway, enjoy. It looks like the 1GB version is going for $79.99 and the 2GB version is going for $119.99.
This still doesn't look like the Boba Fett flash drives I saw listed in that Japanese Star Wars Fan Club catalog a while back. I'll have to get a scan of that picture, and see if anyone knows for sure if any of them were ever actually made before the Japanese Fan Club store went away.

Wow those are cool as hell! What will they think of next that will make me part with my money?

they should make a stormtrooper one.
They already have one of those available.

Way too expensive for 1GB and 2GB keychain hard drives... :/
aaron@bobafettfanclub.com
No kidding. Why not just spend the same price for something that holds 4 times as much.
sweet as moonshine, but you're right Admin, their waaaay to expensive 1-2 gig stick. Thanx for the pic Sadriel
Glad I'm not the only one to think they were rather pricey...

Rather Gene-esque http://cwalega.echoes.net/kiss-photo-gallery.htm .
Kind of a waste of money, I think.

Agreed. Like so much Boba Fett merchandise. Although Sadriel or Sharpy may disagree. :P
Too bad you can't unmask Fett, right? Everything's unmaskable since AOTC. Everything wasn't, before.
aaron@bobafettfanclub.com
Too right, Aaron.
Blasphemy!!
There is no such thing as a waste of money when it comes to the Fett man.
HAHAHA
:D
Also, $70 for a memory stick I'll never use as a memory stick, is a bit much. That one will have to wait a while. Can probably get it cheaper on eBay after a while.

I was just reading another article on these things. It looks like they're come preloaded with exclusive Star Wars content.
They're also going to be available on the mimobot website: http://www.mimobot.com
They also have some neat Halo ones on there, too. Enjoy.

That's a really nice touch that the USB cap acts as the helmet and they show his face. Very nice surprise, indeed.

I finally found that promo sheet with the Japanese Fan Club USB Flash drive on it. Too bad these were never produced, as far as I know. I actually kind of like these a little better than the ones that are out now.

Oh nice.....how much are those?

Read above. They were never produced. Just promoted on the Japanese Star Wars Fan Club before the site went down.

Oh, well that sucks...they were way cool. The "Power of the USB memory" line is great

Yah but those ones weres sorely overpriced.
I agree. I spent 50 bucks for my 1gb stick I guess it was 2 years now, and I never got to use it before the blasted thing refused to work and is now mac formatted. Now they sell 4 gb sticks for 1/2 that. But sadly they just aren't as super cool looking as the Fett man.

Wow, this is definatly interesting! Im not sure I would like to have a cartoony, immature, child's-toy looking flash drive arive my neck though. If I did that, nobody would take me seriously..................but the USB Memory Collection version of the Boba Fett Flash Drive looks absolutly vicious!!! :D
I use a flash drive regularly, as Im sure most poeple do for busniess related objectives. So having a little piece of Boba with me wherever I go would be cool! :D

Speaking of new flash drives. I was looking around on Entertainment Earth today and they have another new 2GB Fett flash drive.

Must be something to these things.
Anyway, enjoy.

This one is definatly better than the original Flash drives you showed before. I didnt like the feature where Boba's Face was shown to be a spanish version of Bob the Builder.....
