Topic: The Mandalorian Brotherhood of Wanderhome

So do you think SWG is a lame MMORPG? We did too until we formed the Mandalorian Brotherhood. Based on the unique culture of our heroes and boasting a newly invented written and spoken language (thanks to Bloodlines author Karen Traviss) we roleplay the armored warriors in every aspect of our game. We have our own city in Northern Lok (since Mandalore is still under Imperial control at the moment) which is a volcanic/sulfurous and desert planet near Tatooine. It suits our taste. We have our own MandalMotors manufacturing that produces not only products for guild mates but also sells goods to the rest of the server to bring in credits from outsiders. Our leader? The legendary Dose Ordo, "Mandalore the Bold", whose ancestor Mandalore Canderous Ordo fought alongside the sith lord Revan in ancient times.

That's actually kind of neat.  I've never been big on computer games, but I have thought about getting SWG before.  I'd probably get addicted, though.

Well, that looks beyond awsome. I kinda want to get SWG just for that reason.

Seems the remnants of the Death Watch heard of our Crusade against the galaxy and tried to beat us at overtaking Theed Palace. Took quite a bit of fighting, but we beat the entire Death Watch army and their commander, a GM (Game Master)

Wow what a small place this internet is.  I had to delurk for this thread.  I also happen to play SWG on Wanderhome and would like to add my 2 cents about the Mandalorian Brotherhood.

For any one wanting to play SWG and roleplay as a Mandalorian the Mandalorian Brotherhood on Wanderhome is the only guild you should consider.  (I feel a little weird shilling for a guild I'm not even in.)  They are a great guild with even better people in it.

And for Dose, Lucas, and the rest of Mando, I'll see you guys Saturday. :)

Ok well I downloaded the 14day trial account today...and now ive been uploading the updates for a few hours....not fun.....its really slowed my computer down so all i've been able to play is Doom. Its been a Doom and Doom 2 free-for-all all day lol.

Well guys, I met up with Lucas McCoy and he took me to Lok and to the Mandalorian estate there. I'm pretty much speechless. McCoy has his own ship and we fly to Lok from Tatooine where I was. Awsome. The Mandalorian cantina and guild hall was amazing. If you like the Fetts and Mandalorians then this is the game for you. He hooked me up with a swoop bike and now i'm off to earn my Mando armor.

theres tons of different types of armor, Only a bounty hunter or a commando can wear Mando armor. I think that Shinzion, one of our medics, wearing storm trooper armor.

Well I think the best was is to go to starwarsgalaxies.com and start with the 14 day free trial. If you like it there is a digital download on the website that you can get that includes all the expansions plus the new instant travel vehicle (amadallas ship) and an AT-RT (small at-st that you can drive). It might take longer to download this way, you can prob pick up the game at any video game store but im not sure if you can at like walmart. I think the newest one is called the complete online adventure. Just make sure it has expansions all the way up to Trials of Obywan and your good.

It's the nightsister queen Axkva Min's eternal bodyguard, his name is Gorvo and he is one of the mini bosses before you fight her in the new batch of heroic encounters in game.

There is the tusken invasion of Mos Espa with the Tusken King, Axkva Min and the Chamber of Banishment, and IG-88's Droid Factory (pictured above also). Mando had all three complete the first night before any other guild on the server. Oya!

Hey Lucas or Dose, if you happen to read this... My 14 day trial ran out, my character is Taigen Yorr. I have to buy the game now, but it may take a while. Dont think I lost interest or anything and kick me out of the guild please. Ill be on eventually.
