Topic: Sideshow Fett RAH figures

I thought we already had a thread for these figures, but when I searched through the backlogs I couldn't find one.  So, forgive me if this is a redundant thread.  I may have just pass right over it while looking or something.  Anyway....

The Jango RAH figure still has yet to come out, but the Boba Fett one's are already being shipped.  Did anyone else get one of these, and if so, how do you rate it?  I was hoping for something that would even top the Marmit figure, with all the hype they've been doing for the fig.  However, I was a little disappointed.  Aside from the hands staying on way easier than the Marmit figure, I didn't really thing too much was improved upon.  Also, is it me, or does the head seem disproportionate to the rest of his body?  It's considerably smaller than what it should be.  Kind of reminds me of that first Powers of the Force 12" Boba Fett that Hasbro put out way back when.  Then they released an electronic version of the same figure, but with a "corrected" head size for distribution through KB Toys.  Don't get me wrong.  It's still a really nice figure, and it's built a lot more solid than the Marmit figure of the roughly the same size, but the head thing annoys me a little, since it was a hundred dollar plus figure.  You think they'd get that right for something that pricey.

I have it & am pleased with it. I also have the Marmit Boba Fett. I think the body is a little small compared to the size of the helmet, but all in all a good figure. Compared to the Marmit Fett, the hands, coloring & helmet are better, but I think the Marmit Fett has a better body. Wish it was a ROTJ Fett instead of the ESB Fett. The Marmit is a ESB Fett too. I have the REH Jango on order too. Hope to get it soon. I'll take some pictures of my Fetts & post them soon.

Yeah, I was hoping for a variant or something with the Jedi paint job, as well.

Why make a varient when you can release the same figure in a years time with the RotJ paintjob and make twice the money? (let's hope)

The sandtrooper on the left is a Marmit & the Fett next to it is the Marmit Fett. The other Fett is the RAH Fett & the Clonetrooper is a RAH figures also. The Obi & Maul are SSC. I've ordered the RAH Jango & hope to get him soon. Can't wait.

I have one & i'm very pleased with it (didn't notice the head size thing)
The only thing that i didnt like is the design for the box, i think it's very plain, it should be more like sideshow 12" range with character pictures & info (maybe that's just me being picky :D)

Anyone know when the RAH Jango will ship?

It's not giving an exact date on the Sideshow website.  It just says 4th Quarter of 2007.  Which means anywhere from October to December.  So, hopefully, they'll start shipping soon.

Wow; looks like something out of a fugitive’s worst nightmare; Jango AND Boba coming for him!  Your collection is impressive; MOST impressive!   :D 

The centered Boba (that’s the RAH, right?) Does look the best.  Thought the helmet looked a little too big.  But in that last pose now I’m not sure; might be just right.  Hard to tell in the pic; why don’t you just send it to me so I can have a better look   ;)   

The colors look way better then on the other Boba; Jango looks great, too.

It apears that Jango made two unaltered clones....and seven miniatures :D

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!  maybe they're not minis, just infants.  Fett's are badass from birth!

Thanks! I got the black figure stands on ebay about 6 years ago. Bought them in bulk. I think I bought 50 for the new figs & 50 for the vintage. They were like ¢20 each(if my memory serves me correctly).

Thanks, yeah the Boba next to Jango is the RAH Boba. He has really grown on me & I like it better than the Marmit Fett now. Medicom did an outstanding job. The Boba helmet does look just a little big, but seems they corrected it for Jango.

Now I just need the evolutions Fetts & my collection will be compete! Muhuhahahahaha.
