"I want them alive. No disintegrations!" Darth Vader to Boba Fett, Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back
Boba Fett's inception is almost as mysterious as his character. What is known is that the unique Mandalorian armor he wears was designed and then fabricated in England well in advance of the filming of Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back.
To create the Master Replicas Boba Fett helmet our engineers laser scanned an original helmet in the archives, perfectly capturing the shape and subtle nuances of the face and dome and output a master pattern from which all our production molds were made.
Over the years the "hero" helmet has sustained additional scuffs and scratches from its many world tours and exhibitions. Using extensive photographic reference, we worked with a talented artist to recreate the "hero" helmet paint scheme as it appeared in 1979 when it first went before cameras at Elstree Studios.

No, unfortunately, the Master Chief helmet is a "scaled" helmet. Meaning, it is a scaled down size of it. Although it'd look really cool next to your "scaled" Boba Fett helmet, also from Master Replicas (shameless plug).

cool so if you're like Devin Jax " building a bf costume and cant build a helmet you can get that one and ride on your motorbike on it and on the wrist blaster you can add blaster sounds to it. so if you're riding next to another guy on a motorbike you can look at him then blast him to smithereens! lol :D
without the "blasting him to smithereens" part, all yourd realy do is confuse him, and he might hit somthing.

Well ladies & gentlemen, it has begun! The pre-orders opened a minute or so before 9am Wednesday (2am Thursday for me!!).
It was a tough decision... do I want the giclee or do I want the signature... or am I crazy enough to buy both? Thankfully, sanity prevailed and I am happy to say that one of the 750 signature editions will be mine :)
With any luck one of the giclee's might just pop up on the secondary market somewhere. ;-p
Good luck to everyone else who is testing MR's bandwith this morning!! :)

Still hasn't become available in the states, yet. Got to wait until tomorrow. I think I'm going for the giclee myself, though. I like Tom Hodges art. I got him to do a sketch of Kal Skirata and Walon Vau together in their armor, when he was at the Comic Con. Really nice guy.
I was surprised to see the helmet's release date for winter of 2007. Usually they have a lot larger time span between pre-order dates and actual release. I'm not complaining, though.
;)

I became a Collectors Society member *JUST* for making sure I get into the early pre-order for the helmet and hopefully the Studio Scale Slave I. Unfortunately, not long after receiving the pack we all got the very, very bad news... :( Oh well, at least I got the helmet, and at 10% off too! w00t!!

Coming to theaters whenever George Lucas dies.

Damn! wish had the money for that, ah well i'll have to settle for scaled down Helmet :D

thats an example :D
can u wear it? or is it just a replica ?
the .45 version is too small to wear, it just look at and think "damn i wish i had the full sized version but i'm too skint"
yeah, you feel guilty and angry about it and commit suicide, lol :D only kidding . dont you really commit suicide lol
k, then whats your idea of funny, then fett 2 , eh?
k, so big boy/adult stuff, k , i'll stay out
yeah, you feel guilty and angry about it and commit suicide, lol :D only kidding . dont you really commit suicide lol
theres nothing funny about suicide,
but i could settle for a scaled version, wouldnet wana wear the big one anyways, might get the inside sweaty, and you couldent see out of it
Interrogations are hard...
i know suicide isnt funny, i was just making a point, k?
a point with "lol" behind it.................
i wish i had a replica of a helmet of the collonial(spelling?) marines from Aliens that would rock
Interrogations are hard...
" i know suicide isnt funny , i was just making a point, lol " THERE I DID IT.
You weren't making a point. You were trying to make a joke in very poor taste.
Anyways, I really like the helmet.

Okay, back on topic, please.
