I know that George Lucas uses the the letter - number combo THX-1138 (title of Lucas's first movie) in Star Wars. One scene is when Luke and Han are getting Leia in the prison block of the Death Star and someone says "cell number THX-1138".
Post if anyone knows of more scenes where THX-1138 is used or would like to comment.
