Topic: New Feature: Topics with Attached Collectibles

Over the years, fans have used the boards to talk about, buy/sell, or otherwise chat about collectibles. But each time, they'd have to describe or find a link to explain what they're talking about just to get started.

We've now connected our massive Collectibles database to the boards. When you're viewing a collectible, there's now a "Reviews & Discussions" section (see https://www.bobafettfanclub.com/bounty/books/comics/star-wars-boba-fett-black-white-red-1/ for example),  perfect for chatting first before writing a review (published elsewhere). Doing this, it'll attach the name, picture, link, and a little more info along with the new topic, tacking it onto the top of the first post (see https://www.bobafettfanclub.com/board/topic/4884/ for an example).

We might expand the interconnectivity to other sections of the site too, so you can easily discuss something with easy, extra context. Plus your topics are much easier to find – in two places when this feature is enabled. For now, it can attach just one collectible at the top, but we're experimenting with handling more (see https://www.bobafettfanclub.com/board/topic/3233/ for one with 8 relevant attachments). It's also only easily available when you come from the Collectibles side of the site, adding the collectible ID to the Add New Topic form.
