Topic: Future cosplayer seeking advice about my first costume(s):)

'Sup Fett fandom, 
Looking to fulfill my Fett cosplay dreams and was wondering:
I know costumes are mostly for show, but it would be so peak if they could function somewhat like they actually would in-galaxy - especially the helmets. 
So if I were to purchase, for example, the cybercraft Boba Fett helmet and maybe the Fennec helmet, is it possible to mod them so that they could function as airsoft helmets? If so, what vendors would be good for that? 
It's definitely a beginner question but I would be so thankful for your opinions:)))

While not a hyper-focused cosplay forum like TDH / 501st / etc., nor a cosplayer personally, one thing that's pretty typical is cosplay helmets are JUST for show and airsoft helmets really need to have good protection. So your best bet might be instead to find a good airsoft helmet and just paint it up as you'd like instead. Then you're all set.
