Intro­duc­ing our lat­est spot­light, our friend on MySpace, Dose­Ordo!

To start off Dose, tell us a lit­tle about yourself.

My names Mike, I’m 24 and live on the east cost of cen­tral Florida. I work for a home builder as an archi­tec­tural drafter, basi­cally I draw the blue prints. About four years ago I started play­ing Star Wars Galax­ies where I founded The Man­dalo­rian Broth­er­hood, a Man­dalo­rian role-play guild, on the Wan­der­home server. Recently I’ve been hang­ing out in the Man­dalo­rian Mercs Cos­tum­ing Club forums and am plan­ning on build­ing a suit of my own.

How long have you been a mem­ber of the site?

I joined the site a few month back and enjoy read­ing posts made by like minded indi­vid­u­als. It’s a great place to be for all things Boba Fett.

What ini­tially made you a fan of Boba Fett?

I’d say like many peo­ple the over all mys­tique behind the visor of the Man­dalo­rian hel­met caught my inter­est. Upon look­ing fur­ther into the cul­ture of the Man­dalo­rian peo­ple I was hooked.

What is some­thing you have learned from Fett that you can apply to your every day life?

You have to admire a man who can stay calm and col­lected and get the job done well.

What’s your favorite Fett line (from the films or not) and which Boba Fett do you pre­fer (orig­i­nal tril­ogy Fett or post-prequel Fett)?

In the book “Tales of the Bounty Hunters”, Boba Fett said: “Those worlds rose in rebel­lion against the author­ity legally in place over them. The Emperor was within his rights to destroy them; they threat­ened the sys­tem of social jus­tice that per­mits civ­i­liza­tion to exist. I am sorry for the deaths of the inno­cent. But that hap­pens in a war, Leia Organa. The inno­cent die in wars, and your side should not have started this one.” To Princess Leia. It gave me a new twist to the entire Star Wars uni­verse on “good guys” and “bad guys”

What is your favorite Fett EU (Expanded Uni­verse) appearance?

Hands down Fett in the Legacy of the Force books. The strongest part about his char­ac­ter is his strug­gle between cold hearted killer and fam­ily man. Its great to see a more dynamic Boba Fett as he begins to care about more things then him­self and credits.

Lastly, what do you hope to see in store for Boba Fett in the future?

I’m inter­ested to see what is in store for Boba Fett. He got a bad deal at the end of the final Legacy book so I hope to see him over­come what hap­pens to him at the end. Over all though I hope he strength­ens the cul­ture and in time have the warrior’s death that fits him, far more so then falling into a Sarlacc.
