Last month, children’s book illustrator Jeffrey Brown followed up his bestseller Darth Vader and Son with another instant hit, Vader’s Little Princess. This cute story takes a look at what fatherhood would be like for the Sith Lord if he was forced to raise a daughter who was a rebel – a fun play on words, since Leia, was in fact, a rebel.
Each page of this book shows young Leia as she grows older and the troubles Vader would have managing his daughter – from teaching her to fly a TIE fighter, to dressing appropriately and spending too much time talking with friends.
One of the funniest images is when she brings a boy home – instead of cleaning his gun at the kitchen table, as we’ve seen countless times in movies or television, Vader has Boba Fett standing menacingly in the background – who wouldn’t ensure their date was home on time if the most infamous bounty hunter in the galaxy was keeping tabs on your night out!

Earlier this year Hasbro gave a first look at the characters being introduced in Series 2 of Angry Birds Star Wars mystery bags. Each mystery bag includes two miniatures, including characters like Han Solo, Princess Leia and Boba Fett.
Reports came in a few months ago that Series 2 had popped up overseas. These items have finally made their way to the U.S. I’ve been checking the toy aisle at retail stores and finally saw the new mystery bags appear at my local Target.
We’re still waiting for reports on the larger Boba Fett Power Battler, including a Han Solo target, to be spotted at local retail outlets.

Back in February, we announced the Boba Fett table within the Star Wars Pinball game. The standalone game, Star Wars Pinball, includes the Star Wars Episode V, Boba Fett and Clone Wars tables we've seen before.
While it's a standalone application from the Apple App Store and Google Play, it's currently downloadable content within these games:
- Pinball FX2™ on Xbox LIVE® Arcade
- Zen Pinball 2™ on PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 3 & PlayStation Vita with Cross Buy entitlement! Purchase once and play on both systems!
- Zen Pinball 2 on the Mac®App Store
- Zen Pinball on the Apple® App Store
- Zen Pinball HD Google Play™
Joystiq has more details:
Players can choose to contribute their high scores to either the Galactic Empire or Rebel Alliance, with the game's interface changing dynamically depending on the global balance of power. The game will be Cross-Buy enabled at $9.99/€9.99, though anyone who already owns these tables in Zen Pinball 2 can download the new solo app for free. Likewise, anyone that purchases Star Wars Pinball will unlock the equivalent tables in Zen Pinball 2.
Don't miss the hint for the Boba Fett game released on the Zen Studios blog post:
Assist Boba Fett in completing two sets of bounties, or table missions, in an effort to gain RESPECT and secure his spot as the most badass bounty hunter in the galaxy. To activate the Galactic Empire bounties, spell out the word EMPIRE by shooting the middle-left orbit. Activate the HUTTS bounties by shooting the sinkhole under the seesaw ramp. Just watch out for the Sarlacc pit!

Freehand Profit, an artist/illustrator/designer based in Los Angeles, used two Nike "Boba Fett" shoes to make a very creative Boba Fett helmet.
Excerpt from the announcement:
I had given up finding pairs of the ‘Boba Fett’ Nike SB Dunk HIs from 2008- it seemed like no one was selling them. I assumed no one in their right mind would give up such a great piece of SB Gold… then a pair appeared… and at a price I didn’t even flinch at. I realized with all the hype and the market flooded with newbies after ‘nothing but HEAT’, some folks gave up selling shoes that weren’t South Beach Lebrons, Tiffany SBs or Jordan Retros. I was lucky and ecstatic to find 4 pairs from great folks all across the country – some by trade some by cold cash money. I set 2 aside for the mask, and a wishful thinking 2 for me. Anytime I start a big project like the Stormtrooper or Boba Fett helmets I know I’ll need more material than a “standard” sneaker gas mask. I aim to do each piece with as few pairs as possible to avoid waste, for the Boba Fett helmet it could’ve been done with just 2 pairs. I saw more potential in sacrificing a 3rd pair for the sake of certain design elements in the finished piece. Very happy with the results, and just as happy with a single pair in my rotation.
The artwork is for sale.

Haute Mess Threads, a shop out of Picayune, Mississippi, calls herself the unofficial "lady gaga of aprons." Ninja Turtles' Krang, Batman's Harley Quinn, Disney/Marvel's Deadpool are just some of the inspired threads. But she's got matching his and her Boba Fett aprons and that caught our eye. They're not cheap ($75 and $100, respectively), but do look pretty sweet.

Kotaku, a Gawker Media tech blog, reports with two concept graphics that Star Wars 1313 involved Boba Fett.
[L]ast year, just before E3, LucasArts shifted focus and turned it into a game about the masked bounty hunter Boba Fett.
This happened last May. Star Wars creator George Lucas looked at 1313—which at that point had been scrapped and refocused multiple times—and told the team he wanted it to be about Boba Fett, the mercenary whose origins as a clone were revealed in the Star Wars prequel movies.
You can see concept art from this version of Star Wars 1313 above. Boba Fett stands over someone who looks a whole lot like Bossk, a lizard-like bounty hunter who Fett has apparently captured. They appear to be in the seedy underworld of Coruscant.

GameSpot also has the Star Wars 1313 promo trailer:

Rovio, makers of Angry Birds, just uploaded their latest trailer featuring Boba Fett's role in the upcoming Angry Birds Star Wars update.
MTV's Multiplayer Blog and MTV UK were quick to post some commentary:
Cloud City looks to add some interesting new obstacles, including steam grates that will have the birds changing direction mid-fling. But what's most exciting about the new levels is the introduction of Boba Fett. While players obviously won't be able to add the bounty hunter to their ranks, it looks like his jet pack will be more troublesome for the pigs than helpful.
Update: Here's the teaser trailer version that was uploaded first:
