Ammo Belt, Girth Belt, Hip Pouches, and Sidearm Holster

Overview / Notes

The holster in Empire was originally made by NEMROD.

Vendor To Consider

Man Of War Studios

  • Girth Belt (approx. $60)

Tips

JC Fett suggests for "Empire" Boba Fett:

  • Ammo belt; 7 pouches, two hip pouches, girth belt and sidearm holster. Ammo belt consists of 7 ammo pouches leather or faux 3 on the right 4 on the left (delta13 recommended), the sidearm holster (stormrider recommended) hangs from this belt at your right side, ammo belt fastens behind you via velcro closure. Girth belt is a dark brownish red and has been identified as a horse hair girth belt (Centaur non-slip mohair girth - will need to be adjusted to proper human waist size). Black straps are used to run through the buckles of the girth belt which are then fastened via velcro.

TK 7602 aka StormtrooperGuy.com suggests:

  • Ammo Belt: 99centtaco (link not available)
  • Girth Belt: crazy4BobaFett
  • Jetpack Belt: Original US Divers

Flynn O'Connor suggests:

  • Hip Packs
Three black 100 round speedloader hip packs.
  • Belts. COST: $10-30
Two on a black Army Webbing Belt. You can get these at Paintball Retail Shops and Paintball Fields.

You may also wish to make another belt with two flaps of grey fabric running over each hip. Two squares one foot by one foot, one over each hip, will do.

Knee Armor and Darts

Vendor To Consider

RS Prop Masters

  • Knee Darts (approx. 16 British pounds)

Machinecraft Replicas

  • Knee Darts

Tips

JC Fett suggests for "Empire" Boba Fett:

  • Knee armor is a tinted orange-yellow, connect via straps behind the knee with aluminum outside darts. The knee armor is the same orange-yellow as the right armor shoulder bell, see ARMOR elements. The knees have white/grey straps that connect behind the knee, personally I use snaps and it snaps to the inside of one of the sides of the knee armor. The outside of the knees have aluminum knee darts (machinecraft replica recommended) and to help keep the knees in place on your flightsuit I recommend sewing a velcro strip onto your flight suit that can attach to adhesive velcro placed to the inside of your knee armor to hold them perfect in place.

TK 7602 aka StormtrooperGuy.com suggests:

  • Knee Armor: Capricorn Armor
  • Knee Darts: Russrep

Flynn O'Connor suggests:

  • Rollerblading Pads. COST: $5-10

Knee Pads can be made by buying yellow knee pads or buy painting them yellow. You may also wish to attach two spent CO2 cartridges on each to make the dart launchers. Paint them Silver.

  • Soccer Skin Guards. COST: $5-20
You can make these buy sewing Grey cloth over a pair of soccer shin guards and inserting strangely painted pieces of sheet metal.

    Codpiece and Kidney Armor

    Tips

JC Fett suggests for "Empire" Boba Fett:

    • Cod Piece connects around waist with studs and between legs via strap. The cod piece has a blaster crater on the front part. The front piece of the cod attaches to the back part of the cod via studs, I use aluminum studs just as my shoulder studs (machinecraft replica recommended). This sort of functions as armor underwear. The back part of the cod piece, from the dead center, has a canvas like strap that goes down between your legs and fastens to the bottom of the inside of the front of your cod piece. This is commonly referred to as the "Boba thong".

    TK 7602 aka StormtrooperGuy.com suggests:

    • Codpiece: Parts and Technical (no longer online at partsandtechnical.com)

    Flynn O'Connor suggests:

    • Sheet Metal. COST: Price Will Vary
File down the metal. Paint the same way as the chest armor.
    • Cloth. COST: $2-5
A safer alternative to metal. Just cut out a U shaped flap of green cloth and attach it to the belt that the hip flaps are on with velcro.

    Vendor To Consider

    RS Prop Masters

    • Shin Tools

    Tips

JC Fett suggests for "Empire" Boba Fett:

    • Shin tools consist of 4 pieces, sonic beam, anti-security, survival knife, and jetpack adjustment tool. d can be created and assembled by yourself or a third party (darth vorhees / fetworks recommended) sometimes people us resin casts or aluminum parts. Personally I enjoy these parts as aluminum, though not fully screen accurate, they have the look and feel of real tools instead of plastic (evolution props recommended).

    TK 7602 aka StormtrooperGuy.com suggests:

    • Shin Tools: unknown users on TDH and original Patterson squeegee

    Man Of War Studios

    • Boots (approx. $170)

    RS Prop Masters

    • Boot Spikes (approx. 45 British pounds)

    Tips

JC Fett suggests for "Empire" Boba Fett:

    • Grey boots with dark grey/black, aluminum toe bracket with spikes. The boots are a canvas like material in a grey color heavily weathered with dark grey / blck sections. There is a bit of piping that runs through the boots. It has weathered white soles (Man of War recommended). The toe of the boot has an aluminum bracket with toe spikes fastened to them (dark-side / machinecraft replicas recommended).
